.:Physical Appearance:. Rumple was once human like most others, he wore the casual attire that most commoners in the 
Enchanted Forest wore. Pants, and of course other garments that hid away his body. He had a crop of brown hair and stood 
about 5'6 and has a crop of brown hair. After having became the Dark One his skin turned golden and rather scaly and his eyes 
of course grew darker  and more sinister.

.:Personality:. Rumple's personality changes from time to time. If things goes his way, he is 
perfectly happy and mellow, but when things go horribly wrong, he gets really mad and abusive. He 
tends to  keep his enemies close, and be nastier toward them then some. But when he has his lovers
and family close by his mood is totally different. He would do anything for his family and would protect 
them from any harm that may come to them. Though he has made a few mistakes in his past that 
he regrets, he always tries to make things better for the future. 

.:Special Skills:. Rumplestiltskin has many special skills, being the Dark One has allowed him to 
learn magic faster then any other natural being. He can wield dark magic by making contracts and deals 
for other folk of the Enchanted Forest, however he follows the magical rules, all magic comes with a price. 
You must give him something in order for him to give you something in return! He also has the power of the Seer, 
which means that he has the capability of seeing into the  past and future.

Once Upon a time in the Enchanted Forest there was a boy who was born into the world. His mother had ran away shortly after leaving him behind to be raised by his father Malcolm. The young boy grew up and his father became the Coward of the town. He loved to drink and gamble so much that he had gambled their life away.



His father one day had left him alone with three female spinners whom loved to work with spinning wheels. When Rumple had told them about how badly he wanted a fresh start with his father they had decided to give Rumple a magic bean that could take them to a new land.



Rumple had found his father not doing what he was saying, but was yet gambling and drinking his life away. He had told his father about the magic bean, and though his father wanted to pawn it off for extra money, his son convinced him at last that it could take them anywhere they desired. And there was one place that his father had always dreamed of going too, a place called Neverland.



Once in Neverland his father tells him about all the wonders of this new realm, but then realizes that the only way one can be in Neverland is to be a boy, not an adult. The Shadow of the realm had told him that he would have to get rid of Rumple in order to be released of the burden of being an adult. He had sent Rumple away and was then made into Peter Pan of Neverland.



Rumple after having returned to the Enchanted Forest returned to the Spinners who had taken him in, feeling sorry that his own father had abandoned him. From that day onward, Rumple began to grow up into a a young man. He had met a lovely woman named Milah and had fallen instantly in love with her. He had asked her hand and together they married and then she was pregnant.



It was during the ogre wars when she was pregnant and Rumple had to go out and fight for his Kingdom, but once he had heard the news of his new arrival, and a prophecy from a Seer he had but no choice but to injure himself so that he would no longer be needed in battle. The Seer had foretold that his son would be fatherless if he were to go to war, and that he could not allow.



However when he had returned to his wife and new born child, he had returned a coward, and Milah had lost all feelings for Rumple and had abandoned him and his son for a pirate named Hook.

Rumple was furious when he had seen that she was with Hook, and thus offered to duel Hook in exchange for his wife back, but he was to much of a coward to fight him.



He had to tell his son that his mother had died. Years had past and the army had decided to draft children for the Ogre Wars, and his son Bealfire was next to be drafted and that he would not allow. He had to do something to save his son from being taken away.



He had to break into a castle and steal the Dark One's Dagger and then he had killed Zozou the current Dark One and the powers of the Dark One came to Rumple making him the most powerful being of all. With this new power the Dark One had taken full advantage, protecting his son, but also causing everyone to fear him as well. Bealfire realized now that his father was so obsessed with this power that he had decided that it was high time to change this, and seeked out help.



He had received a magic bean from the Blue Fairy, who had promised him that the bean would take him and his father into a new realm where there was no magic and that together they can live a new life. He took his father into the forest and used the bean in hopes that his father would come along with him, but Rumple had other plans. He was much in love with his own power, that he had let his son vanish into the other world. But he also regretted doing that as well for now he had lost not only his wife, but his boy.



As time wore on Rumple continued to search for his lost boy. During these times he had recently gained a maid by the name of Belle who had apparently strong feelings toward him. Rumple of course knew that it was hard for him to find love, because all he ever loved was his magic and his only son. His only goal was to find his son and that was it, but as time passed on he began to grow strong feelings for Belle. But then as time continued to ware on, he had finally found away to this other world in which his son had been sent too and began to find away to gain this Dark Curse.



He had recruited Maleficent, Ursula and Cruella to help him find this curse, which just so happened to be on Bald Mountain, the home of the Chernabog. He needed these three women so that they can help assist him in gaining the curse. Once he took the women to Bald Mountain he did not need them any longer, and left them tot he Chernabog. He had what he wanted, now all he needed was a successor who would be able to cast this curse.



He had given the curse to Regina after having found it, who he hoped that she would be able to cast it since he was incapable of doing it himself. He had placed the essence of true love from Prince Charming and Snow White to insure that only in act of true love can break the curse, and that sacrificing the thing you love most is a most when enacting this terrible curse. When Regina traded the curse to Maleficent for a Sleeping Curse to place on Snow White, she later had gained it back after taking it back by force from Mal.



DURING THE CURSE 



During the curse Rumple had been turned into Mr.Gold where he lived as a pawnshop owner in the town of Storybrooke Maine. He had not remembered anything from his past since the curse took affect, that was until he had heard Emma's name which happened to have brought back his memories. Regina of course knew this little fact as well, and was less impressed.

When Emma came into town, he knew that Emma was going to be the one to break the curse, because he knew that she was Snow White's daughter, and he was the one that chose her from the start to be the one to break it, because she was the product of true love and that she had the powers of the Savior.

AFTER THE CURSE 

After the curse had broken Rumple was free from it, and had decided to have Emma go into the caverns beneath the Library in order to fetch a potion that he had saved for a rainy day, the potion was inside the belly of Maleficent who was trapped in her dragon form. After he had regained this potion he had used it to bring magic back to the world so that he can finally start searching for his lost son.



A few years pass in Storybrooke and he had finally been reunited with his son, only to lose him again after he was shot by Tamara who then later he fell inside a portal taking him into the Enchanted Forest. Henry had been kidnapped and they had to go into the world of Neverland in order to find Henry. Rumple of course had other plans for Henry for in his past he was told by a Seer before stealing her powers from her that Henry was going to be his undoing and that he had to destroy him before he was to undo him.



But during his trip to Neverland, he had realized that it wasn't Henry at all, but Peter Pan, his own father. He had saved Henry and they all returned to Neverland, but in the long run he had to sacrifice himself in order to stop Pan from causing any more harm to the people he had loved. After him and Pan died the others had vanished back to the Enchanted Forest, and he was no longer alive.



His son Neal was in fact alive, and had also rejoined him back in Neverland and he was rejoiced about this, that was why he had to sacrifice himself was to prove to his boy that he cared for him more then he did his magic, and this resulted into having Neal finding a way to bring back his father. Him and Belle had returned to the Dark One's castle after having returned to their land, and had actually found away which was able to bring Rumple back but at a major cost, the death of his own son.



It was all because of Zelena, the Wicked Witch of the West. A woman who he had once trained in his past to possibly enact the curse, but had failed to prove her worth. Zelena wanted revenge on Rumple for having chosen Regina over her all because Zelena had fallen in love with her. When Snow White cast the Dark Curse again it had sent them all back into Storybrooke and Rumple had taken Neal inside him to save him from dying, because that was the cost of returning Rumple back from the dead.



When returning to Storybrooke, Rumple was the Wicked Witch's servant because she had possession of his blade, which made him do whatever that she desired. Rumple had learned later on of what Zelena's plan was, she wanted to cast a spell that would allow her to go back in time to change the past, which would make it to where Rumple had chosen Zelena to cast the curse, and that Regina and the others had never been born into the world and the only happiness that would exsist was to be hers. She was however stopped by Regina and Rumple at last free from the Witch who had supposedly died.

After Emma and Hook had returned from the Past, they had brought Elsa into Storybrooke, a Sorceress of Ice magic that he had trapped in his vault back in the past. Elsa's visit led to the point where Rumple was trying to figure out how to untether himself from the Dark One's Dagger so that he can have his full powers to himself and not have to worry about the dagger threatening him.



He had found the Sorcerer's hat a magical object that had the capability of stealing magic from other magical beings and he knew that once it was full of magic, and that the stars were aligned with the stars from the hat, he would be able to cast a spell on the hat to finally be rid of the burden he had with the dagger. But that was when his plans began to falter. When he at last had Hook's heart, his enemy and then he was stopped by no other then Belle herself who had found the Gauntlet that would show its owner the thing they love the most, and to Rumple it wasn't Belle, but his dagger.



Realizing now that Rumple never did love Belle she had banished him from Storybrooke and into the real world. Once in the real world, Rumple had set off with his second plan, to recruit the Queens of Darkness Cruella and Ursula to help him find the so called "Author" A man who had the power to change the stories in which he had written. He found Ursula and Cruella and had managed to use them to get him back into Storybrooke. Once back they helped him resurrect Maleficent after her demise with Emma. Once the Queens of Darkness returned the search for the Author was at last on. As the time went onward, Rumple's heart began to grow darker and darker and it began to affect him terribly. He knew that if h didn't find the Author to change the story to where he was a Hero instead of a villain.



When the search for the Author finally came, he had managed to get the Author to rewrite the Storybook and everything had changed, he was the Hero as well as all the other Villains, and the heroes had become the villains. But of course as fate happens to be so cruel, Henry had managed to spoil his plans and the changes were corrected and everything went back to the way it was, and his heart was almost gone. The Sorcerer's Apprentice had been freed from the hat after his imprisonment from the hat and had then helped Rumple by using the Sorcerer's hat to unteather the Darkness from within him, allowing it to be released, however the Darkness could not be set free to swallow the entire world and the other realms, instead it teathered itself to Emma Swan, making her the new Dark One, and this is where Rumple's new life begins..

                It was twilight, a shadow swooped over the large dark palace that had belonged to Rumpelstiltskin, or the Dark One 

as he has been infamously called now since he had possession over the Dark One's dagger. Since becoming the Dark One, things
 have changed for Rumple. He had lost his beloved son Baelfire because his son feared the new man he had become. But Rumple had no choice, he wanted to save his son from the Ogre Wars, and the only way to have done that was to become the strongest 
and most powerful being in all of the Enchanted Forest. That day still haunts his very being, that day when his son vanished through the portal into the other world. It was all because of that fairy, that fairy had given his son the magic bean which would have taken both him and his son into this new land, but Rumple wasn't ready yet to give up his new magical abilities, and it was magic that had made him lose his only son.  The only thing that seemed to calm his nerves was spinning. He loved to spin straw into pure gold, it was what calmed him when he was rattled up like this. 
            

            But still the thought of his son still made him tremble. That was why he was teaching Regina magic, he knew that if 

he had taught her the magical arts, he would be able to have her cast the "Dark Curse' and have them all sent into the realm in which 
his son had supposedly gone too. He knew that he would not allow Zelena, the half sister of Regina to perform the Dark Curse because she had strong feelings for him, and that meant that if she were to cast the curse, it would be his heart that she would have to sacrifice, and that Rumple would not allow. He had worked too hard to gain this curse from Bald Mountain, he had to trick three of the Enchanted Forests most feared villains in order to gain it and be able to escape the monster that resided inside the mountain. He was not about to come this far just to lose it all.

            He knew that time was of the essence, the Evil Queen had made her announcement already to Prince Charming and Snow White that she would indeed be casting a curse that will destroy all of their happiness, but of course she didn't verbally say that she was casting a curse, she just said that she was going to do something that would lead to destroying their happiness. She was determined of course to ruin Snow White's life after her little mishap with her lover a long time ago which lead to Cora killing the poor stable boy. Such a tragic love story Rumple had always thought. He got himself up and walked toward a mirror and waved his hand in front of it, causing the reflection of himself to melt away and reveal Regina in her bed chamber, she was trying to summon fire, which seemed to be a difficult task for her.  He sighed with dissatisfaction.
