She has bright green eyes, a charming smile, that is usually reserved for her loved ones and the occasional moment of joy. Emma is masucular though her work as bail bondswoman previously and then sheriff. She usually dresses for comfort in Jeans, shirts, boots, practicality winning the day, but Emma also enjoys wearing girly dresses and the occasional princess dress. The blonde has a buttercup tattoo on her wrist, a few scars on her body. She wears two necklaces to remind herself of things, like a shoelace to remember Graham Humbert or a necklace to remind her never to trust the wrong people again, like the one who had given it to her.

.:Personality:. Emma is not one to easily trust people. She initially only trusted herself and shied away from letting people into her walls. She had and still has walls to protect herself from people, who could hurt her, something she learned through years upon years of foster families betraying her or other people betraying her. She had to protect herself. Apart from those Emma is a very kind and selfless person. She’ll give everything for others and not expect much back. She still has to learn to accept that she herself deserves kindness. She can be quite cheeky with people she’s at ease with, loving a nice prank here and there. When Emma loves, she loves with all her being, but she also fears losing those she loves, as she has previously.

.:History:. Emma Swans story began before she was even born. There were prophecies about her. She was meant to be a savior, meant to save the land from a curse when she would turn 28. Emma was put into a magical wardrobe which transported her into the land without magic. Here she grew up in the foster system, passed on from family to family, never finding a stable place or family. She became a troubled young woman, running away with her friend Lilly, falling in love with the wrong guy, who got her into prison where she had her son Henry. To give him his best chance she gave him up for adoption, which became another step to her destiny. Emma somehow managed to recover from that. She found a job, despite her lacking education, made a living and lived happily until she turned 28, when a young boy with the name Henry arrived at her door, to take her to Storybrooke, Maine.
Storybrooke was a cursed town, where Emma met people she never thought she would meet. She broke the curse, reunited with her family and finally found a place in the world, being able to let go of baggage. She started to build a future, if fate would have it.
