It's Always Nice
TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION
Hook was in a bit of shock. Two things had happened that had caused him to stand there and just stare at the space that Emma Swan had once occupied. The first, was the fact that she had said those three words that Killian's heart had longed to hear for so long. He knew it wasn't something she would say unless she had meant it. But alas, they had come out . . . a time that resulted in heart ache for seconds after, she disappeared. His mind inevitably flashed to hearing Milah say those three words -- not for the first time -- but it had been when he held her as her left fled her body, she told him she loved him.
And now, seconds before Emma took on the dark curse that would now claim the second woman he loved, she had said those words to him. And he had not able to say them back. He knew she knew, but he had wanted to much to say them. And now, she was gone. Consumed by the Dark One's curse and no where to be found. He was not in possession of the dagger. In fact, he just wordlessly departed from the rest of the group, trying to wrap his head around what had just happened.
It would only be a matter of time before the town found out. He had somehow made it to his ship to just collect his thoughts, somehow hoping that Emma would be there . . . needing to see her, despite the curse she was now under. Hook spent some time there, trying to regain himself, trying to compose himself enough to function in this place for he would of no use otherwise. They needed to save Emma, in every sense of the word and he would not fail in doing so. He made his way to Granny's to see if Henry was there, for the boy would also need to be told this.
While it was not decided that he would tell him, he could at least keep him near and reconvene with the others. He made his way inside, standing at the door and found himself just . . . well, standing. His eyes looked around for the boy, who was not to be found. But another person caught his interest, the newer visitor of Storybrooke. She should know what was happening, given her connection to Emma, yet all he could do at the moment was stare at her. Physically he was looking at her, but mentally, his mind was racing and found his gaze merely fixated on the woman.
