“A trade.” Of course, what else did she expect? They had been clear about this woman not being light and good, otherwise they would not have locked her up there, would they? Lily wondered about the circumstances especially since she heard them mention a child – was she really pregnant or just using it to her advantage, much like Lily had used the little girl to try and throw off Emma. Again something she could not fault her for, Emma was stubborn as hell.
“How do you know about him?” Lily was not willing to fall for a so called trait when this woman had no information on ther father, so she would need a bit of proof in order to trust her. This ladies sister – was it really the sister, cause the two didn’t exactly look alike – was batshit crazy and had proven that Lily should not trust anyone in this damn town at all. She moved forward to look at her.
“What do you want in return then? Do you want me to free you?” Then again that was a bit obvious. Where was she to run to? This town seemed to be so full of…. Hypocrites already, she doubted anyone would willingly give her a chance, then again they seemed to trust the evil black haired one.

Lily was in no way surprised to have caught the mans attention when she took off her corset. This was exactly what she wanted. She was no stuck up little princess after all, she was the dragon child of a powerful sorceress. People feared her, but they also wanted to use her sometimes, not knowing she was more than capable of using them herself. Like she intended to use this man. To her, though it looked like they could happily use each other, something she was more than okay with. Both of them could get something out of it, money, company, reaching the place they needed to reach. It sounded and seemed like the perfect deal to her then, maybe to him, too, as long as they didn’t piss her off enough to dragon out. Lily let him lace her up again, watching his hand and hook and him intently. Oh, yes, they could have a lot of fun together.
She grinned: “No need to hold back, Captain. You can unravel at any time you want.” The beautiful dark haired woman stepped on deck with him once he had her laced up entirely. “Shall we speak about the regulations then, Captain?” Lily moved forward, looking back at the Captain. “I am no normal woman. You can’t anger me. I have… a bit of a magical ways to loose control and that is dangerous to you and your crew. That includes your crew. Other than that: You can do to me as you please. To be safe: Keep the pain to a minimum, please? No need to hold anything back, Captain."

What she said sounded like suggestion, a popular method used even by those completely non magical people, tricking peoples minds and making them do and want stuff they didn’t know before. To Lily her talk of hints and ideas sounded a bit like it. So she had used tricks to make her want to come, tricks she could have resisted, but didn’t, as she didn’t expect to be tricked like that. Lily had to admit, it was clever, very clever actually. Not using magic, but using something the outside world would call magic. Or maybe magic was involved, how would she know? Lily knew she was not fit to judge her methods, nor fit to pass judgment on her.
“What are those reasons?” Lily was curious about them. Since she decided not to judge her without knowing what exactly happened, something no one had cared to fill her in on, she could imagine something interesting might actually happen. And she still had a few bones to pick herself. Would she be locked up, she could imagine, Zelena had as well. One of those bones happened to be with Zelenas very sister Regina –interesting choice of matching names, actually. “What do you want? Fair warning, trying to piss me off is a bad idea.”

“They were your foster family. Had they cared, they would have adopted you and kept you come hell or high water.” It was as simple as that. Had they really cared for her, she would have known and nothing she could have done or say would have made them waver in their love. Families like that didn’t exist in this world, though, not in the system. There were like two lucky kids who found a family, but that was it. The most did it either for money or prestige. Emma was right, they were connected, they belonged together, because for Lily Emma was no prestige, no meal ticket, she was a friend, she cared about her, even if she screwed up her chances, but in the end, was it her fault those people allowed it to screw things up? Had they cared about Emma, they would have helped her. But they didn’t.
“Friends.” She answered softly, smiling at Emma. Now they just needed a plan, but they would find it. First they needed to leave the state, so the people had less chance of following them. With the money, they might have a chance to declare themselves emancipated, maybe. They would have to look into it. Then they could perfectly legally make their life alone, by themselves. “Where do you want to go, Emma? We can go wherever we want.”

Lily had searched long for a quiet place in Storybrooke. It seemed like they were so rare, that every single one seemed to be taken almost immediately. It was in passing that someone winked at her and pointed at the docks. Lily decided it was worth checking out. Sure enough she came across an unoccupied bench. It was calm there, calm enough for her to be alone with her thoughts. She had learned a few things, but now she had trouble reconciling the knowledge she had with the actual town she had. Her mother wasn’t like the stories said she would be. Maleficent was meant to be a big badass powerful evil dragon. But she wasn’t. She was… just a woman. And she could transform into a dragon, both of them could. Which was why she tried to be somewhere secluded.
“It was all I had from my birth parents. Kids like I keep stuff like that. Unless Emma has thrown it away, she still has her baby blanket.” At least Emma had once mentioned she still had that. For Lily it was the necklace. It was all she always had. And the birthmark on her wrist. But as her mother continued, she found herself dropping her necklace, staring at her in shock. And egg. This was from an egg, once she was hatched from. She was hatched from an egg. Lily found herself shivering slightly at that. “I hatched from an egg? How? And … how was I a baby then? A baby dragon?” Actually Lily had always liked the sight of baby dragons on tv, was it her female maternal dragon instinct thing? Did she want to mother on baby dragons, because she was a dragon? So weird. And kinda cool.
“They tried, at least. But they never really succeeded.” It took years to look back upon it to see that, yes, they had tried, very very hard.

They called it intuition, mostly. But somehow, something told Lily Page, that her urge to go to the hospital, to the cells in the psychiatric ward, had nothing to do with intuition, but everything with the nature of the town: Magic of some form had to be at work, right? How else did she even know the damn thing existed in the first place? Now she walked down there, straight to a cell as if she just knew she had to be there. It was inexplicable to her, but it happened. This was one of the reasons why she actually really wanted to leave again. This town was strange, crazy even.
As soon as she looked inside, though, she knew what was going on. She knew the woman inside. They had been in her place in New York. Apparently she was the Wicked Witch of the West and coincidently the sister of this crazy woman Regina, at least according to her mother. Had she summoned her here? But didn’t they want to prevent her from using her magic?
“You. You’re here…. I don’t get it, did you make me come here? How? And why?”

“I am willing to offer whatever service you’re willing to take. Within some regulations, of course.” She had her damn limits. Most of which were of the physical kind as well. She turned into a freaking dragon, there had to be limits, otherwise she’d turn on this ship and probably kill a few people, if not sink it, if she was unlucky. For a pirate, though, Lily was surprised he didn’t seem to know what she had done. With a sigh, Lily reached for her corset. She slowly unlaced it, knowing most eyes would be fixed on her. While doing so she held the gaze of the man. Once the corset was off – revealing a very revealing white shirt underneath – see through almost – she turned it. There, sewn into it, were several gold coins.
“I am a woman. Those woods aren’t exactly full of honest men. Traveling with a bag of gold would have been foolish, so I had it sewn into my clothing. There is more than that.” With that she bent down, gathered the edge of her upper skirt and pulled it up, revealing more gold sewn into the layers of her skirts. “Now, satisfied with the gold or do I need to find another ship?” Lily then moved to put the corset back on, slowly lacing the front again, while waiting for the answer.

Lilith was on a quest. She wasn’t used to being outside in her human form, but the problem was, that nobody was inclined to help a dragon. She needed to be able to communicate with the people in order to find clues. With the last piece of the shell of her egg, she wanted to find her father. It was the only clue she had, apart from the fact that she knew he was a dragon as well. So she started so seek out all the known dragons lairs. A grand amount of gold should help her, but most ships refused her passed upon seeing the crest on her belt. She was Maleficents daughter and as such well known and feared. They feared her mother despite assurances by the daughter, that no, she would not set a dragon on them or dragon out on them.
Eventually she decided to go as incognito as she could. She exchanged her dress and her mother’s crest for peasant clothing, pants and dresses, hoping without the crest at least a pirate ship would take her to the dragon layers she knew. She had enough money for it, surely. In the next port Lily spied a ship she deemed appropriate. Pirates. Surely they could be bought with gold and that was no problem with her. And maybe they would not recognize her without the crest, only in peasant clothing.
“I am not lost.”, Lily replied after one of them shouted the question at her. “I am seeking passage to a certain place. I can pay, generously. Will you take me?” He gaze remained hard. In all honesty, she’d do whatever it took. “And… I offer my serviced in however I can help on the ship as well.”

Even his answer, the way he seemed to be in a way here, but not really here, almost haunted, told Lily that something must have been majorly wrong. She didn’t really know this man – apart from the impressive dying for Emma and her son and his obvious devotion to her – but she had an idea that he might have seen a lot in his time. So for him to be so shaken up seemed uncharacteristic to her. Maybe she was wrong though. Not according to him. Another dark curse. Another one? Why did it sound like this town has experienced more than the one she explicitly knew of? The one this evil queen cast, which was part of why Emma as well had to endure so much, like her.
“The Dark One. Isn’t that… what did Maleficent say? A small ugly imp with an ego problem? Rumpelstiltskin?” This was actually the most she knew about it. He was the Dark One. What that meant or was, she had no idea. Just that her mother didn’t exactly like him and apparently had tricked her quite often. And he seemed to have had a hand in what happened in this town, as in he had a hand in the curse. She didn’t bother asking much about it so far, the question about her father and being a scary dragon bitch were much more pressing in her mind. After all she didn’t exactly want to end up burning down the whole town just because someone cut her again – bad move from that evil queen by the way.

Once again Lily found herself alone. She sat there at the bus station, defeated, hurt. She really did not want to ruin Emmas chances with this foster family. Then again they were so quick to judge her, was it really that bad? What would have happened later? When Emma had bonded more with them? They could have hurt her even more. Families were a strange thing, a painful concept for those who had never been accepted for who they were in their families. Feeling like the money was incredibly heavy in her pocket, she pulled her knees up, making herself as small as possible. Which bus would she take though? Where should she go? Lily was just about to get up and into the next bus, when she heard a well familiar voice. Emma came back. But why? Why would she come back? She made her point clear.
Lily watched her in shock and astonishment as she apologized. Now of all the times? Of course she understood Emma had been angry, but she had dismissed what she said. Lily wasn’t sure she should trust what she said.
“How could I know that? You were clear, Emma. I said I was sorry.” And she said other things. Lily made bad choices and she couldn’t help it. She really wanted this to change, but whatever she touched turned to hell. It was not a nice feeling at all.

Something was up, Lily felt it in he way the entire mood shifted all of a sudden just with someone walking in and walking out again. Nobody seemed to communicate with them, there were no words exchanged or anything, just a nod, someone else left, possibly for a private conversation and that was it. That was what changed everything it seemed and in all honesty Lily was confused by this. How did it work? And what happened? Nobody paid attention to her, why would they? She was a stranger in this town, with ties to only two people and a wish to hurt some others, which she would bury until her father was found, whoever he was. It could be really really hard. He was a dragon, that’s really all she knew about him. Who was he as human? Was he human? Was he still alive? Was his dragon gender even matching his human gender? She had no idea about dragon science or whatever it was called. She just knew she turned into one when she was pissed.
The last confirmation of something being wrong was the guy coming in, looking as if he had seen the ghost of future Christmas. He was searching for someone, but eventually his gaze was fixed on her. How? Why would he look at her? Only if… if what was wrong was related to her or Emma. This man loved Emma. Lily could see it in how they clung to each other when they came to Storybrooke. She could see it in how he freaking died for her and her son and now, now he seemed to be in serious distress. Lily was no good person, but with her mum by her side, she really wanted to be happy. This man was part of Emmas happiness and a part of her wanted Emma to be happy still. So she approached him.
“Killian, right? What is going on here? Everyone seems… to be freaked out. You most notably.”

| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ | .:Physical Appearance:. Lily is a beautiful brunette. She has light skin, which tans easily. She has prominent, voluminous lips and dark eyes, which appear to hold the secrets of the world. She is slender, but not sickly thin. Her body is slightly muscular from physical labor, for example from carrying dishes as waitress. Her most noticeable physical trait is a star shaped birthmark on her wrist. Lily doesn't dress to impress. She dresses for comfort and within her budget. This usually means cheap t-shirts, comfortable but not too expensive jeans and not exactly form fitting jackets. She does have a few nice second hand shoes though. She rarely spends much time with styling her hair, just combing the long dark tresses back, out of her eyes, just to be practical. .:Height:. 5’6” .:Portrayed by:. Agnes Bruckner
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ | .:Personality:. Lily has been through a lot, it made her who she is now. She is realistic and slightly pessimistic. Lily didn’t have a lot of luck in her live and so she expects even less. Since she’s been passed from foster family to foster family, never enough for anyone, she’s become bitter and untrusting, set on revenge for those who screwed up her life. Lily wants to make the right decision. She wants to be happy, but it seems that whatever decision she makes, it’s meant to turn out bad. Initially she thought it was her just drawing in bad luck, now she knows she’s full of darkness and so darkness and bad decisions follow her path. Despite wanting to be good, she’s bristling with the need to avenge what happened to her. She longs for it and it takes a lot of willpower to not do so. .:Strengths:. Resourceful, knows how to manipulate people, headstrong, a believer, can turn into a dragon .:Weaknesses:. Bad things seem to follow her, knows nothing of her past, appears crazy to some
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ | .:Birthplace:. Woods in the Land without Magic. .:Family:. Mother: Maleficent; Father: Unknown. .:Occupation:. waitress .:History:. Lily is the product of a dalliance between two dragons: Maleficent and her unknown lover. The mother desperately tried to protect her, even before she laid the egg and even before her daughter hatched. Lilys birth was overshadowed by the interference of the author and Snow White and Prince Charming: In order to make sure their daughter was purely good, they took out Emmas potential for darkness and gave it to the innocent egg containing Lily. Since this made for one powerful entity of darkness the sorcerer’s apprentice brought the hatching egg including Cruella and Maleficent to the Land without Magic. The two villains took her egg shell – safe for a tiny part of I – and left her to herself in the woods, to make their own life.
There the baby was found and given up for adoption. Her adoptive parents gave her the name Lilith Page. They raised her lovingly, but nothing ever felt right. She felt like an outsider, unloved. Maybe it was that she always felt that there was more to her family than she knew. Lily ran away. On one of those stints she met a girl she felt immediately drawn to: Emma Swan. They promised to be best friends forever, but as her father found her and they got separated, Emma was naturally angry at her. Lily didn’t stay with her family for long – this time they kicked her out for good. She found a boyfriend. He roped her into robbing a store, an idea that sounded good to her initially but turned out to be really bad. By luck she found Emma again and managed to make her help her, in the process though, Lily managed to get Emma thrown out of her foster home. The two once again split on bad terms.
As Lily made her way away, still running, she met an old man with information about her real mother and the reason why everything she touches turns into a disaster. She finally found out about her mother, finally knew it was not all her, it was put upon her, like a curse, only it was worse. Lily tried to live her life, but she constantly got involved with the wrong people, had to run, had to sometimes even fake her own death. Over time her desire to get revenge on those who put this upon her grew stronger and stronger. She lived as Starla, as finally someone from her past appeared again: Emma. This time she had the chance and she took it. After tricking her, she stole her old friends car, intending to get to Storybrooke, but Emma stopped her. For some reason despite Lilys intention to hurt Emmas family, she allowed her to come with her to reunite her with her mother. It was not a nice reunion, Lily turned into a dragon at the worst of times, but they gave each other a chance and through that Lily found a new task for herself: Find her father.
| ~ • ~ | Sample Post | ~ • ~ |
Lilith sat at the bus station again, turning the necklace in her fingers over and over. She only barely heard what happened. Emma the Dark One. What ever that meant. She was not here long enough to be really fully familiar with this term, but it seemed to have an effect to her mother. It had to be serious then, right? Or maybe Maleficent tried to be the bigger person and felt empathy towards Snow White? She didn’t know. Lily herself was still pissed, but she agreed to leave them alone. In a way they were still punishing themselves and this? This was perhaps a bit of punishment for them, too.
Lily avoided a lot of people, save for her mother and Emma. This crazy woman Regina basically topped the list. To this day Lilly had no clue why she cut her. Emmas shadow seemed okay as well, so she might approach him, too. Maybe she should speak to him, after all she had a hand in killing him in this weird other reality. Maybe he could tell her a bit more about what was the deal with all of this. That was if he was up to this talk. If it was really this bad, should he not be one of those most affected by it all?
