It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Neverland. Hook had been stuck here for quite some time and while he did not regret his venture here, having to deal with Pan and the Lost Boys was certainly a price to pay for the inability to age in this land. He supposed the vengeance was worth it . . . at the same time, he despised the boy having so much control over everything and everyone.
This however was not his first time on this island and the place hardly held fond memories, for it was where he had once lost his brother. Now, it was where he had come after losing the woman he loved. The association of this place with loss was rather strong, but it held qualities that Hook currently needed and there was no going back now until he found a way to destroy the Dark One. The crocodile didn't think Killian could live long enough to find a way? Well, Hook the pirate captain would prove him wrong. Hook tended to spend most time on his ship, and right now was no exception to this.
He was sailing out on the waters, unable to go anywhere else other than the same sea over and over again. He looked out with his telescope, seeing a shadowed figure in the distance and we fully aware of who it was. "Seems as if Pan is recruiting again," he stated. The addition to his clan of Lost Boys occurred every so often. He tucked away the telescope, hardly curious enough to go and find out who the latest Lost Boy was. "Another soldier in his army of boys," Hook added on with sarcasm and slight agitation. It was bad enough that Pan knew all. It was worse when he had more minions scurrying about to keep tabs on him, since they were well aware that adults were in the vicinity.

Then they were off with loops and dives and flying through the air with nothing, but the aid of a figure cloaked in shadows, feeling the wind in her long hair. It really was all very fascinating to the young girl as she stared down at the ground below trying to wave at the occasional window gawker that was trying to gaze out at the stars. Course, seeing a flying girl nearly always had them running inside thinking that they were no doubt seeings things. Who ever heard of a flying girl before? It was down right ridiculous and yet Wendy was accomplishing such a task with nothing but a mysterious figure. She still didn't really know who or what it was, but it certainly knew how to move as it dodged between chimneys and carried her onward. Everything was utterly spectacular as she told it go higher and faster which he seemed to understand. He certainly put on a burst of speed as he flew past Big Ben and headed for what seemed like a star far off in the distance. She of course was chatting very amicably with the spirit, though other than mentioning Neverland at her window it had gone quiet. Which was fine since she normally could talk just about anyone head's off if given the chance and honestly she didn't mind quiet people.
So she continued to talk, occasionally asking if she was bothering the spirit, but he remained quiet as he continued his destination to the star. She had to admit the longer they flew the more she wondered if it was such a good idea to fly into a star given it was way out in space or so she had been told. The problem was it had started to fog over which was confusing to the young girl since a moment ago the sky had been clear. Now there was all this fog and clouds so thick you couldn't see anything and yet the shadow continued onward making her wonder if he even knew where he was going. In fact she wasn't even sure where they were going as they seemed to have lost visual of the ground. Did he know where he was going? He seemed to and when she asked if they were going the right way he still gave her silence. Some flight this turned out to be as she fell back into silence herself only to find the shadow diving down some. She braced herself a bit finding that flying was both thrilling and a bit scary only to stare out to nothing, but water? What had seemed like moments ago to be city was now nothing more than water which surprised the young girl as she tried to see better. It was all really confusing actually only to startle when the shadow told her that they were close to Neverland which made the girl very excited.
She was finally going to see what magic was like and have some good old fun. What did Baelfire know of magic anyways? This seemed so amazing that it was hard to believe what she was seeing. She actually pinched herself just in case, but no this was definitely happening as he lowered them down further and then became parallel with the water. This was amazing so surely he had to be wrong about all kinds of magic being dangerous. The shadow certainly seemed nice even if he didn't really talk much and he had said that she would be home before morning. Was wanting one night away from her fighting parents really that hard to understand? Only as she turned her head to see around that she finally noticed the mysterious island of Neverland coming into view making her very excited. It looked amazing as she stared down seeing what looked like dolphins jumping through the waves only to realize they were mermaids. She tried to wave to them, but they didn't respond as they continued to head towards the island and causing her to start talking incessantly.
"It's amazing. Can we take a closer look? Is that a pirate ship? Oh gosh can we go see it?" asked Wendy enthusiastically, but the shadow ignored her questions.
Well that was very rude as he continued to take her closer to the island ignoring her wants of exploring the island and telling him that he could put her down. Except, he wasn't putting her down and that made her start struggling, but then again they were in open water. Still, she had never seen an ocean or any big mass of water that she didn't really know how deep it was as she continued to struggle in his arms. Suddenly, he was gone and she was falling making her startle wondering what had caused him to let go of her. She was actually getting scared wondering if she possessed any flying powers only to find herself dropping feet first into the ocean. Normally, this wouldn't be such a bad thing, except Wendy had never had the opportunity to learn to swim and thus started struggling against the water.
"HELP! HELP! I CAN'T SWIM!" yelled Wendy as loud as she could while she struggled against the water doing her best to keep herself above it. She may not know how to swim, but she knew how to fight and she was putting up quite a fuss though thankfully the shadow had the decency to drop her just in view of the pirate ship. If she wanted to have her fun, than she could do it herself as he flew off ignoring the cries of the young girl as she struggled against the current.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 981tag: Killian Jones clothes: clicky notes: wendy needs a hero!credit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

It's Always Nice TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION Hook wouldn't have paid much attention to the recruited member -- forced or not -- to Pan's growing group of flunkies. But seconds before the pirate was about to turn his back and carry on his own business, he could have sworn he saw a head of thick hair, a dress and then . . . a splash in the water. Or perhaps more of a plop. His eyes remained on the figure out at sea, hearing a feminine voice shout out for help.
"Bloody hell," Hook mumbled under his breath. So Pan was not longer just collecting boys; he was gathering girls as well? Now that certainly had a potential level of perversion that Hook didn't exactly want to think about. Even still, no child deserved to die as such. And so, without so much as a second thought, Hook quickly unbelted his sword, letting it fall on the deck of his ship and dived in after the girl.
The currents were strong, and from what he had been able to tell, she was a petite little thing. Then again, these waters were not meant for anyone to swim in. He moved his arms and feet, pushing against the waters as he made his way to her. He then wrapped an arm around her and held her close as he used his free hand to wade back toward the ship.
"Put your arms around my neck and hold tight," he instructed, so that when the rope was tossed for them, he could use both hands to hoist them up. Which was precisely what he did. He collapsed onto the deck of his ship, running his hand through his hair to wipe back the water as Smee hurried toward them with towels. He motioned for Smee to give her the towels first, as this wasn't Hook's first encounter with swimming through heavy waters. "You alright there lass?" He questioned, his eyes searching her over to see as well as hear her answer.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Wendy continued to struggle against the waves of the water, feeling herself becoming tired, but pushing her body to it's limits against the ocean. When she meant she wanted to have a closer view, she didn't exactly mean she wanted to go swimming since it was her first time near any water. Wasn't like London had a lot of beaches she could swim at as she struggled to keep herself afloat , occasionally breathing in water. This was certainly proving to be hard, she had to admit as she tried to keep her head above the water, not aware that someone had heard her screams for help. How could she when her splashing was drowning out pretty much everything including her ability to think things through. Then again, not 5 minutes ago she had been flying through the air over buildings and clouds and now she'd landed in a big expansion of water. So it wasn't like she could have planned any of this exactly given what had occurred as she felt her arms start to tire in their battle against the raging waters. She tried to keep going but she choking on disgusting sea water with each new wave. She was pretty certain that she was going to loose this battle when suddenly a man was at her side startling the already distressed young girl. She tried to speak, but no words came out as his arm wrapped around her fairly light waist as she started helping her back to the ship. She tried to help along, but she was already mentally exhausted and had taken in quite a lot of water.
All too soon a rope was being tossed overboard for them and she was being instructed to hold onto his next which she did given she had not much choice. Still, she used what remaining strength she had as her arms moved to wrap around the man's neck while the rest of the crew struggled to help pull them both up. Only once she was safely on board the ship did she finally release her death grip around his neck in favour of chocking up the water from her body. After all she had swallowed quite a lot in her panic to stay above water while calling for help. Shivering from the cold water she attempted to thank her rescuer only to startle slightly when a small portly looking man approached her with a towel calling her miss. If anyone knew Wendy they would know that she hated being called Miss anything. Her name was Wendy and that was the way she preferred everyone addressing her as, but when she tried to correct him he had already walked back over to the other man. The one she owed her very life given that she would have surely drowned if not for his heroic act of saving her. She was a little startled though when crewmen seemed to come from everywhere wanting to get a view of their unexpected guest. Now normally Wendy didn't mind so much attention, but she was soaking wet and after her encounter with the shadow she was a bit nervous. Especially since most of them didn't look too happy whispering about things to each other as she took a step backward.
Course, she was smart enough to back herself off the deck, but then again there was a railing in case she did step too far, but she merely took a few steps away from the prying eyes. She bit her lip nervously as she held the towel just a little tighter around her small thin form feeling a little uneasy what with so many men around. Then again it had been a very stressful day at the moment turning when her saviour made his way over to her, asking if she was alright.
"I'm a little cold and tired, but I'm alright. Thank you for saving me," replied Wendy tiredly as she glanced around watching the crewman still looking at her like they'd never seen a women before.
Deciding to turn her gaze elsewhere she attempted to scan the pirate ship that she had asked not five minutes to have a closer look at. Except she hadn't expected the shadow man to end up dropping her in the midst of a raging ocean without knowing if she could swim or not. If she could swim she probably wouldn't have minded such a thing even if the drop had been a bit too high for her liking as she walked around the ship. This felt like a dream and yet when she pinched herself she realized that it was all really standing in front of her, only to startle when she heard the short little man address her saviour as Captain. That rattled her cage not realizing she had been saved by the highest ranking member of the ship.
"Your the Captain of this lovely ship?" she asked in shock and wonder as she stared around at it all, noticing the cliche pirate flag making her roll her eyes some.
She certainly hadn't expected to be rescued by the Captain himself recalling all the stories in which most Captains would have just had one of their crew member do it. This was certainly not what she was expecting for sure as she allowed herself to tour the ship walking up and around surveying it all. After all, it wasn't very often that she came across such a ship let alone a pirate one like she saw in her dreams. She was just about to start playing with the necklace she normally wore around her neck when she realized that it was no longer around her neck. Nervously she started looking around for it, worried that she might have lost it overboard and praying that wasn't the case. It was the only thing she had left of her real father knowing that she had been adopted for quite some time not that she ever let on. It was only as she was making her way down the stairs when she spotted a few of the crewman passing around something.
"Hey give that back it's mine," replied Wendy irritably only to watch as one of the members become startled enough that he lost his grip on the medallion.
She watched in horror as it went sailing through the air, feeling her heart about to break only to watch it land just in front of the pirate captain. She swallowed thickly watching as he slowly bent down to pick it up, while she tried to find the courage to march over there and take it. She wouldn't allow her father's necklace to be tossed around like a ball and she certainly wasn't leaving the ship without it either. Taking a deep breath she marched slowly back over to him, her damp hair not doing much or the towel as she came to stand in front of him.
"Please sir, it's the only thing I have left of my father," replied Wendy pleadingly as she chanced a glance at the Pirate Captain willing him to understand what it meant to her. Her mother had passed it on down to her and she wasn't about to let it out of her sight as her hands itched to grab hold of it once more.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 1224tag: Killian Jones clothes: clicky notes: wendy needs a hero!credit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.
