• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Wendy still sat on her rock bench swinging her legs carefully so as not to bang her legs against the rock like she had done plenty of times before. She sighed gently as she sat with Charming a bit surprised that he was taking time out of his busy schedule to come and sit with her. She knew he was the sheriff or well one of them not to mention he had a pretty big family to take care of that why he bothered with her was anyone's guess. Not to mention, she tended to get out of town for the sole purpose of leaving her troubles behind her. She knew that she'd have to head back to Neal's place eventually, but honestly that could wait for the time being as she sat trying to figure out what to do. She knew she probably should talk to someone about what was happening, but honestly the young girl didn't want to seem a pain. Not when she was nearly 14 and should be handling things like this by herself especially since it was a matter that no one could do anything about. Sure Tasha had been scolded time and again for other infractions, but she always was careful in the way she'd attack Wendy. So she said nothing knowing it was easier to stay quiet than to make a fuss and expect anything good to come of it. So mostly she just stayed to herself, and didn't bother her brothers or Neal or Killian even though they all probably would have helped her. At the very least would try to since there was little any of them could do and besides she knew it would make things worse.
Surely Tasha would eventually get bored by Wendy's lack of emotions concerning the abuse and move on. At least that was her hope in the matter, but so far it wasn't working. The more that Wendy ignored Tasha, the more that Tasha seemed to pick on her until she was nothing more than a punching bag. A thought that didn't sit very well with the young girl as she rubbed at her arm that still concealed the bruises from the latest attack. Though she made sure to keep the sleeves of her shirt covering them knowing that it would do no good to reveal them. She turned though when Charming started talking and telling her about his own daughter and how she tended to lie to hide feelings and pain. Something that made Wendy shift uncomfortably knowing she had been caught with her hand in the cookie jar essentially. She kept her eyes downcast though when he kept saying that she had dozens of people she could be talking to. Which was true, she had probably quite a few adults in her life she could trust, but this wasn't about trusting anyone with anything. She just didn't want to cause problems because she told on Tasha who would surely cause more trouble for her. Something Wendy didn't need to add to her growing list of stressful topics.
"Yes, my brothers have been good I suppose. I mean it's hard to talk to them since we're quite a bit different now. I think John has a girlfriend now so that's kind of hard," she said shrugging a little as she looked out at the water.
She really didn't want to discuss her problems with Tasha at all. Sure, she had everyone she could ever possibly want to talk to available, but she was a little nervous about the repercussions. Besides, she could handle one girl all by herself, right? It wasn't like she was some big mean adult. Though it seemed he wasn't going to give up on pursuing his need to get the truth out of her biting her lip. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she slowly turned to look at Charming carefully knowing not what to do in a situation like this given she first and foremost didn't want to be a problem on anyone.
"Your not going to tell anyone are you?" she asked nervously, bitting at her lips. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 690tag: David Nolan clothes: clicky notes: stupid schoolcredit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Her foot was starting to hurt quite a bit after the fall she'd just taken given that she had landed quite hazardously on her foot now that the adrenaline was almost completely worn off. Course, it wasn't fun trying to stay off it while dealing with your honorary brother who seemed to think she was a figment of his imagination. If she was well, she'd love to know why he was dreaming her up with a busted leg. However, it appeared to be taking longer than expected to get Baelfire to recognize her which didn't exactly sit well with her given that she had to do her best to keep pressure off her bad foot. The foot that would no doubt need to be tended since it was at the very least sprained if not broken. Still she tried very hard to stand there as he decided whether or not to kill her or believe her. She honestly just wanted to yell at him for how silly he was acting, but apparently he wasn't so easily convinced by the simple fact she was injured. As if she would hurt herself just to hurt him or some such rubbish. Then again she wasn't truly aware of the goings on around Neverland. Eventually though she had to give up and sit down on the jungle floor being careful in her movement so as not to cause him to fire unnecessarily. She still thought he was overreacting as he pointed that arrow at her, but she didn't say much else after spewing those simple facts.
Surely, only he and Wendy along with her brothers would know about the games they played back home in London. Though really it was a game that most children at least where she was from knew. A very simple game really, but tons of fun if you knew how to play and had an active imagination like she did. She tried to look at her throbbing foot, but she wasn't a doctor and had no idea whether it was as bad as she thought it was. At the very least it was starting to feel warm to the touch which could potentially mean that it was sprained, but she wasn't terribly sure. She simply nodded when he started rambling on about a few things and seemed to internally debate with himself. The whole time she just kept her movements slow and careful while waiting for what seemed like a long time giving him a look when he asked when she had last checked to see if she was herself. Clearly he didn't know a joke when it was right in front of his face. Though she didn't say anything since it wouldn't exactly do her any good as she sat there studying him and then the ground. She bit her lip though when he challenged her on the fact that she of all people had come to rescue him sighing heavily as she stared at him. "Because like it or not I care about you Bae. Your family now and family is important to us Darlings," insisted Wendy carefully hoping that would satisfy his curiosity.
Course, when she mentioned that old game of 'Lava' he seemed to open up a little which made her sigh in relief watching as his eyes turned downward. At least this place hadn't taken that from him as he studied Bae carefully and checking to make sure he wasn't about to just open fire on her anyways. However, she did finally relax when he spoke about the rules of the game making her smile a little as she stared up at him. Her foot was still throbbing painfully, but at least she had allowed herself to take the pressure of standing off her foot. She nodded gently when he spoke saying that it was her as if he had any doubt in her being there. Though obviously he appeared to have had a lot of doubt. At least now he had lowered his arrow and bow for which she was grateful as she lay there in the dirt.
"Yes, it is me. Though I honestly wish I'd have appeared more proper. Stupid shadow dropped me and I fell in the bushes," she muttered as she tried to pull a few leaves from her hair.
Honestly, she was a downright mess given mud was covering her nightgown and she had leaves in her hair. Still at least he had finally admitted to himself that she was there. Otherwise she wasn't sure how to go about explaining to him who she was. Then again she supposed most of her memories would have sufficed but 'lava' was a far more prominent thought in her mind. Though why that was the first thing to come to her mind she had no idea, but at least it had gotten her somewhere. Which was better than nothing in her mind.
"So you going to come over and hug me or do I have to drag my injured self over to you?" she asked half joking and half not given she really was starting to hurt. No way in hell was she fit enough to walk over to him. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 869tag: Neal Cassidy clothes: clicky notes: hope this is okay, if you want me to edit let me knowcredit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

Sensing that he was wanting to sit down regardless of whether she wanted to or not, she quickly moved over on her 'rock bench' that she had deemed for herself. After all, it was probably the more comfortable of the rocks around given part of it was quite smooth to the the touch. As it was, she allowed the older gentleman also known as the sheriff to take a seat beside her adjusting the cute little hat that she was wearing and making sure her sleeves covered the bruises. It wouldn't do well for anyone to know what sort of trouble she was in. Besides, it would look pretty bad to the other kids if she ratted out Tasha and well she wanted to believe that she could handle things. Sure, she'd sprained her wrist, a while back, but that wasn't a big deal to her and neither were the bruises. She just liked to throw her weight around and making sure everyone knew who the toughest girl in school was so she said nothing to anyone. Wasn't like it was going to do her any good mouthing off. She could handle one bully, couldn't she? Just so long as she kept the injuries to herself or could make up a convincing lie. Like her sprained wrist that she said she had gotten from gym class even though they didn't have gym that day.
"I'm alright, I suppose," replied Wendy pleasantly enough as she leaned against her little bench.
It was more or less the truth given that she had found some comfort in the form of Neal and Killain though when it came to children she was a little lower on the food chain. She just couldn't really relate to the children as well as she would have liked given most of the kids had parents from other worlds and a whole other life. All Wendy could say for certain was that she had once been captured by a shadow and taken to Neverland. Exciting to be sure, but not really something that other kids could relate to and her parents were nothing extraordinary either. So that didn't really leave much for her to talk about not to mention the work was a little more complex than she was use to. Probably due to the fact that she was homeschooled by her parents so that didn't really help in the socializing department. Sure, she could talk and chat with adults until she was blue, but parents were seemingly a lot easier to entertain than other kids. Then again she was fairly certain Tasha had a hand in that too.
When he asked her about how she was getting along in town she merely shrugged at it finding that the was far more interesting all of a sudden. It was definitely nothing like what she was use to back home. Everything was almost completely brand new to the young girl and even if these clothes were a bit strange. Course, it was a big jump to go from the 19th century London to what she had last checked was 2015. So obviously it all rather different to her, but she supposed she managed well enough for a young girl of 13 give or take however long she'd been in Neverland. It was strange knowing that all the people she loved were probably dead or much older than she would have imagined. Sure, she could complain about every little thing wrong, but that really just wasn't Wendy's style so she decided to say nothing. Then again she assumed he would want an answer as she kicked her feet in the sand sighing gently.
"Well enough I suppose," she said quietly as she leaned against her rocky bench. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 626tag: David Nolan clothes: clicky notes: stupid schoolcredit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • She wasn't wanting to draw attention to herself as she sat there miserable in her cage wondering when it was the next time she'd get to be let out. After all, even she needed to use the washroom and she sure as heck wasn't going to use a bottle like some animal. A sneeze escaped her mouth as she stared at the spot in the cage where she had drawn a little smiley face in the dirt sighing heavily. She wouldn't even care if she never saw her family again, she just wanted out of the cage which was starting to get a little uncomfortable the more time she spent in it. More importantly she really wanted to know what sort of plans Pan had for her given that he hadn't let her leave. He didn't usually take girls which left her pretty confused as to why he would capture her or even allow the shadow to bring her back as it had. Honestly at this point she wasn't even sure if it was worth knowing what sort of plans that boy had in mind for her. A shiver ran through her body at that thought as she wrapped her arms around herself as best as she could feeling herself wanting to be sick. Course, she didn't say anything to the boy as he stood there, probably enjoying watching her pathetic form stuck in a cage like an animal in a zoo. Except, she was the exhibit animal and he was the visitor paying to see her sit there dejectedly. She turned sharply when the boy mentioned that she would find no sympathy here making her sigh heavily as she looked away.
"I never said I wanted your sympathy or your pity. A girl can cry can't she?" she asked getting pretty upset with the way he was talking to her.
She sighed gently running a hand through her hair a bit trying to find something to soothe her body finding that the food was starting to make her nauseated. Sure, she'd tried to eat what was given to her, but her stomach just wasn't in it today whether from stress or sickness she couldn't tell. Though it probably didn't help that she was in a night gown even if the jungle was rather warm during the day. The nights though weren't very warm and every once in awhile a cool wind would blow through the cage chilling her at times. Was it possible to get sick in a hot jungle? She wasn't really sure given her only knowledge came from books as she sat there dejectedly, hearing as the boy further rambled on. Did he not see that she didn't care what he thought about this 'Pan's' decisions? Besides, he certainly didn't stop some of the boys from pushing her around and withholding food from her at random intervals. True some of the boys weren't so mean, but there were a few boys that certainly enjoyed making her situation far more miserable than she already was. So she didn't even bother addressing him with an answer about the fact that he considered her lucky to be stuck in a cage. She did turn though when he said she was lying to him about the food.
"I'm not lying. I said I'm not hungry. Okay? I appreciate the food, but I don't want it," replied Wendy miserably, as she looked away trying to reacquaint herself with the cage.
She wasn't trying to act defiant about this at all because there were certainly better ways of doing that. In fact, she probably would have eat it were it not for the fact she was feeling rather sick. Honestly, she was surprised she wasn't throwing up though she did feel a little dizzy. However, she knew there was no good complaining about it so she said nothing to him. Besides, he'd probably feel relieved if something were to happen. He clearly didn't enjoy standing there feeding her so she was sure most of them would be quite happy to see her gone. Save them the trouble of having an extra mouth to feed. She slowly looked up again though when he asked her why she was locked up in the first place.
"How should I know? Your a lost boy why don't you ask the genius himself," asked Wendy moodily as she clenched her stomach and tried to lie down to help sooth her stomach and dizziness. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 745tag: James O'Neil clothes: clicky notes: aww..well he is kind of cute hahacredit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • "I'd like to see you sit in this cage while being bullied and fed through a hole. See how nice you are then," she replied getting annoyed with this boy's attitude.
Which was true and if she was honest this was probably the first time since coming to this godforsaken place that she had actually showed any kind of strength in her. Probably because most of the boys scared her with them treating her like an animal in cage, tormenting her with the ideas of freedom. It hurt more than she would like to admit, but she never once shed a tear around these boys until she was absolutely sure she was alone. At least this boy wasn't as cruel as the others, but he was still jerking her around when it was hardly fair. So maybe snapping at him wasn't the best way to go about this, but she was right. If their roles were reversed could he say for certain that he wouldn't be annoyed with her attitude? Probably not, so he didn't have any right judging her as he gave her some attitude about her meal. He didn't need to be so mean to her and it wouldn't kill him to use her name since she did have one. Playing with her food as she stared at it, she scrunched up her nose a bit, but attempted to eat it even if it made her slightly nauseated. She almost wondered if it was poisoned or drugged, but then again it was hard to tell since she certainly wasn't any expert on things like that.
"You don't have to be so rude. You know? You'll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar," muttered Wendy as she swallowed thickly around another mouthful.
She was tempted to ask what exactly was in this, but her stomach was already rebelling against it and she knew if she ate anymore she was going to be sick. Setting the plate down, she sighed heavily and crawled back towards the back of the cage that was way too small for a girl like her. If she could she probably would have drawn her knees up to her chest, but she technically couldn't do that without hitting her head. She actually wondered if she was forever stuck in this place. Would she ever see any of her family or friends again? Maybe it was just easier if she starved herself to death and saved them the trouble of feeding her. Bad enough she was a burden on her parents and now Pan. Though she still didn't know why he was keeping her anyways. Closing her eyes a moment, she felt a few tears slide down her face. She swiped at them irritably as the boy told her to eat saying it was better warm, but she ignored him and the food. Nothing like making a person feel worse when they were already down on their luck.
"I'm not hungry. So just take it and leave. It's not like you care anyways. None of you care," she said though it was lacking any real venom. All she wanted was to be left alone to her thoughts as she wiped at a tear closing her eyes and withdrawing into herself trying to imagine a world that was brighter and happier. Like when she had tried to make a campfire in the middle of the living room with her brothers only to get burned herself. She still had the marks to prove it, and even though it had hurt, she loved to see her brothers laughing and smiling. So really it was worth the pain. This was not worth it though, as she swallowed thickly trying to keep herself warm in the nightgown she was wearing.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 629tag: James O'Neil clothes: clicky notes: maybe he can..credit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • It took her a moment to recognize the young boy who was standing there pointing what looked to be a cross bow or something at her making her swallow. Yet, she would recognize that mop of hair anywhere even if he was a little more rough around the edges since he was taken away from her. Though she was a little confused about the bow all the same, making her a little nervous about approaching him as he took his time trying to figure her out. Honestly, this day apparently couldn't get any worse after being dropped into a pile of bushes by a rather irritable shadow and now being used as target practice. Not to mention, she was fairly certain she had either broken or sprained something. At least she liked to think so given that her ankle was hurting something fierce, but she paid it no mind at the moment. She waited a moment, shifting a little nervously until she saw him start to lower his bow for which she was grateful. She relaxed a little until he seemed to come to himself and raised it back at it her making her swallow thickly keeping her hands up as she waited to see what he would do. You would think risking her life to save his would at least allow him to be a little kinder. After all, how many people could say that they tried to rescue him anyways? As it was he did finally speak, but it was a little insulting towards her, given that he was calling her a trick of his imagination.
"Uh i don't think I am. If i was I'm pretty sure my ankle wouldn't be sprain," she said, checking herself over to play along with Bae's seeming need to check she was there.
She took a hesitant step towards him wincing when she moved her bad foot now that the adrenaline from the fall had started wearing off. She just wanted to hug him, but she stayed her ground as he said so, really wishing he wasn't doing this while she stood there in pain. She almost wondered if he had smacked his head somehow, given she wasn't as aware of Pan's powers since she'd barely stayed more than a few hours. Sighing gently she decided it was best to tread carefully with this situation as she kept her hands up where he could see them. This may have been considered amusing to her if it weren't for how serious he was on keeping her back from him. Still, she said nothing more though she wished she could sit down, trying to balance on her good foot and risk further injuring her other. Course, balancing on one foot was easier said than done, but she attempted to do more or less since she didn't want to ask if she could sit down.
"Uh, I think my name is Wendy last time I checked," she said when Bae asked her who the hell she was rolling her eyes a little as if it was the dumbest question ever.
Then again she suppose it was a fair question all the same given that she had just came out of nowhere. Not to mention she knew his history more or less and knew that it was hard to believe that people cared. Except, Wendy did care, more than he probably knew but that was just her typical fashion. Biting her lip though she tried to think of something to make him believe her trying to recall something that only they would know. Surely, she couldn't fake memories as she stood there looking rather comical. Though she did cross her arms over her chest when he told her to answer him. Since when did he suddenly become so rude.
"That's not a nice way to talk to someone you know. i have feelings too. Geez, you'd think you would show a little more respect for the girl coming to save you. But if you must know I'm Wendy Darling. You know the girl that didn't kill you after you snuck into my family's house? The girl that hid you in a small little secret room in her nursery? Or who taught you how to play 'lava'?" she replied daring him to deny the fact that they had played such childish games.
She knew her brothers certainly could never forget that night when their parents were out and had suddenly decided that the whole house was covered in lava. Which basically mean that they had to get about the house without stepping on the floor. Bae had to have remember that night when she taught him how to play. Surely that was something that was common knowledge to the natives lurking around these parts. At least she hoped not as she shifted a little giving up and slowly making her way to sit down on the ground so she could rest her foot. It was painful enough without her having to sit on it. Stupid shadows. He really didn't seem to like her very much, always dropping her so rudely. Surely that would convince him. At least she hoped so as she kept her arms up once more getting very annoyed.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 875tag: Neal Cassidy clothes: clicky notes: hope this is okay, if you want me to edit let me knowcredit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • It had been about two weeks since she had been saved by Henry's nice, albeit crazy little family including one of the man she use to consider a brother. Then again she had managed to find herself a brother in another young man that many called Captain Hook, but she didn't like calling him that. It seemed mean in a way so she just generally settled for calling him Killian since it seemed like a nicer name and well the other may be more pirate like, but it didn't sound very nice. It sounded more like a cruel nickname much like how Tasha was treating her. She thought maybe she would leave her alone after that first day when she hurt her wrist, but it seemed she was persistent in her torturing of Wendy. She really didn't under the girl at all and none of the other girls seemed to be of much help either. Not to mention it was still weird getting use to all these rules about leaving the room or eating and what not, but she was trying. That was what her brothers would have wanted and that was probably what Neal and Killian would have wanted too. She probably should have told someone about the trouble she was having, but when did complaining ever do her a world of good? Besides, she didn't want to admit defeat because she was better than this. So instead, she turned to the ocean allowing the calm of the waves to allow him some comfort. She had always loved the ocean even though she'd never really been near one until Neverland.
She sighed gently out at the water, finding the sounds soothing to the young girl as she removed her backpack from her shoulders having just left from school. She was suppose to come right home, but Wendy had never been one much to do that and besides she was upset with how her day had gone. She kept screwing everything up at school and Tasha had been particularly cruel to her about her parents and just that she didn't belong there. It was probably true, but at the same time it wasn't like anyone would believe her about what had happened. She wished she had at least one friend, but that didn't seem to be possible at the moment as she closed her eyes. At least not with Tasha there and making it clear that no one should be her friend. Still she never did let her see how hurt she was by it all. If anything, she buried herself in her school work and kept up a happy front even if she was sad and miserable. At least, she had Killian and Neal around, but she hadn't felt like bothering them or any of the town's people pulling up the sleeve of her shirt to expose the bruises on her arm. Tasha really enjoyed shoving her around and stuff at recess and being in control of her.
Shoving the sleeves back down after inspecting the girl's handy-work she turned her attention back to the ocean away from the prying eyes of everyone in town. It had become one of her many places that she visited even if she wasn't upset and just needed to get away from the people. It was all so strange to her including the clothes that she was currently sporting, but she knew she would eventually adapt. She sighed heavily wishing she could go for a swim, but the thing was that as much as she loved the ocean, she had never learned to swim. She really wished she could, but it wasn't like anyone had offered up to teach her. Though that didn't stop her appreciating the beauty and tranquility of the water. She was thinking she might head back when she was startled to see a man making his way over to her. David she believed he said was his name, but she couldn't be certain.
"Yes, that's right. The one and only," she replied gently not really looking at him as she sat there. Not to seem rude, but she just wasn't in the best of moods. Hardly her fault as he asked if he could sit with her. She shrugged gently to him before making room for him on the rock she had come to find very comfortable. It almost looked like a bench except this was made out of jagged stone rather than plastic or wood. Still it wasn't her job to tell him where he could and couldn't sit.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 761tag: David Nolan clothes: clicky notes: stupid schoolcredit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • "I need to get back to Neverland please," replied Wendy for the second time as the shadow pulled her away from the only home she had ever known to Neverland.
Then they were off with loops and dives and flying through the air with nothing, but the aid of a figure cloaked in shadows, feeling the wind in her long hair. It really was all very fascinating to the young girl as she stared down at the ground below trying to wave at the occasional window gawker that was trying to gaze out at the stars. Course, seeing a flying girl nearly always had them running inside thinking that they were no doubt seeings things. Who ever heard of a flying girl before? It was down right ridiculous and yet Wendy was accomplishing such a task with nothing but a mysterious figure. Everything was utterly spectacular as she told it go higher and faster which he seemed to understand. He certainly put on a burst of speed as he flew past Big Ben and headed for what seemed like a star far off in the distance. She of course was chatting very amicably with the Shadow, though it remained quite just like last time. Which was fine since she normally could talk just about anyone head's off if given the chance and honestly she didn't mind quiet people.
Besides, her brother Michael was all kinds of quiet and shy so she ended up talking for him and beating up kids that picked on him in the streets. 'Focus Wendy. Focus,' chided the young girl to herself as she turned her attention back to the Shadow as he flew through the air, silent as ever. She was actually surprised that he had allowed her to come back, but that was fine by her hoping that she could find Bae and get him home safely. Despite what he might believe he was her brother in all but blood and she felt responsible for him. Her father might not approve of him, but that mattered little to Wendy, her mother or her two younger brothers so she had to at least attempt to get him back. After all, he was very dear to her heart as surprising as that was despite only knowing him for a couple of days. She tried once again to focus her energy on the task at hand as they continued to fly through the air towards the seemingly impossible island far from prying eyes. It was incredible knowing that a whole other world lay just outside her bedroom window and yet very few knew of it's actual existence. Wow she was really unfocused this evening as they began their ascent into the heavens and watching the clouds roll in.
She shivered a bit recalling the familiar feeling of being utterly confused at the sudden mass of clouds and then to appear upon a vast ocean with nothing but an island in the middle of it. She just needed to find Baelfire and get out of there before this Pan guy found them and trapped them both. The problem was she doubted they would leave without at least some sort of fuss, but her plans never got very far. It didn't take long before she was in view of the island as the shadow prepared for a landing, but Wendy had other plans deciding to get dropped of away from camp. Course, he didn't seem to understand or at least care about her protests for the longest time as they flew over the trees. Getting frustrated she tried to claw at the hands on her arms which seemed to work as she fell out of the sky and landed in a pile of leaves for which she was grateful. Brushing herself off she muttered about stupid shadows and how it wasn't nice t drop people only to startle when she heard a voice. Pushing her way through the brush, she swallowed thickly, hands up, twigs in her hair as she carefully revealed herself.
"Uh....I come in p-Baelfire?" she asked in shock and amazement, starring at the boy she was just on her way to find.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 698tag: Neal Cassidy clothes: clicky notes: surprise! did you miss me?credit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • It had been god knows how many days since Wendy found herself stuck on the island of Neverland and more importantly held captive by the island ring leader. She could never be quite sure why it was that he felt the need to keep her hostage in the first place because it wasn't like she could exactly leave. So really it was a bit ridiculous to be in such a cage when it wasn't like she could go anywhere. Sure, she could try swimming, but she didn't know how to swim because she had never been taught given there was very few places to swim. So realistically the cage was a bit unnecessary, but try telling that to a ruthless leader who she thought was a bit narcissistic in his endeavours. Not to mention it was poorly constructed and certainly not big enough for a young girl of thirteen, but it wasn't like anyone paid much attention. Plus, it was really hurting her legs and just about every part of her body from it. Still, she knew complaining wasn't going to do herself any good, especially since she had already tried and gotten no response from any of the boys. It was strange seeing the boys so dependent on the one called 'Pan', almost like they didn't know how to function any other way. She almost wondered if they were drugged or threatened, yet they seemed to more or less move of their own free willl, though it was a little robotic-like. Shaking her head she turned when she spotted one of the boy's making their way over to her.
She sighed gently when she saw that it was just someone bringing her food, shifting back away from the opening worried she might get hurt or something. Granted, most of the boys were more or less good to her, though a few enjoyed messing with her which kind of annoyed her greatly. It was bad enough being in a cage that was it really necessary for her to be treated worse than she already was. Still, it was nice that they bothered to feed her, even if it wasn't that much for a growing young girl, but she wasn't going to throw a fit over this. She bit her lip watching as the young boy opened the small hatch and gave her the small bit of food, smiling faintly as she moved over to it and attempted to eat it. She was really hungry and it felt good to have something in her stomach not even caring what it was. Though the boy's attitude was something left to be desired given the way he was treating her.
"You know you don't have to be so rude. And i happen to have a name. It's Wendy, okay? Wendy," snapped Wendy getting a little frustrated by the way she was being treated. She knew maybe she was playing with fire, but she was stuck in a cage and so obviously she was a bit cranky. It really wasn't that hard to at least talk to her by name was it? Even prisoners got treated much better than these jerks.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 527tag: James O'Neil clothes: clicky notes: wendy needs a hero!credit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Wendy continued to struggle against the waves of the water, feeling herself becoming tired, but pushing her body to it's limits against the ocean. When she meant she wanted to have a closer view, she didn't exactly mean she wanted to go swimming since it was her first time near any water. Wasn't like London had a lot of beaches she could swim at as she struggled to keep herself afloat , occasionally breathing in water. This was certainly proving to be hard, she had to admit as she tried to keep her head above the water, not aware that someone had heard her screams for help. How could she when her splashing was drowning out pretty much everything including her ability to think things through. Then again, not 5 minutes ago she had been flying through the air over buildings and clouds and now she'd landed in a big expansion of water. So it wasn't like she could have planned any of this exactly given what had occurred as she felt her arms start to tire in their battle against the raging waters. She tried to keep going but she choking on disgusting sea water with each new wave. She was pretty certain that she was going to loose this battle when suddenly a man was at her side startling the already distressed young girl. She tried to speak, but no words came out as his arm wrapped around her fairly light waist as she started helping her back to the ship. She tried to help along, but she was already mentally exhausted and had taken in quite a lot of water.
All too soon a rope was being tossed overboard for them and she was being instructed to hold onto his next which she did given she had not much choice. Still, she used what remaining strength she had as her arms moved to wrap around the man's neck while the rest of the crew struggled to help pull them both up. Only once she was safely on board the ship did she finally release her death grip around his neck in favour of chocking up the water from her body. After all she had swallowed quite a lot in her panic to stay above water while calling for help. Shivering from the cold water she attempted to thank her rescuer only to startle slightly when a small portly looking man approached her with a towel calling her miss. If anyone knew Wendy they would know that she hated being called Miss anything. Her name was Wendy and that was the way she preferred everyone addressing her as, but when she tried to correct him he had already walked back over to the other man. The one she owed her very life given that she would have surely drowned if not for his heroic act of saving her. She was a little startled though when crewmen seemed to come from everywhere wanting to get a view of their unexpected guest. Now normally Wendy didn't mind so much attention, but she was soaking wet and after her encounter with the shadow she was a bit nervous. Especially since most of them didn't look too happy whispering about things to each other as she took a step backward.
Course, she was smart enough to back herself off the deck, but then again there was a railing in case she did step too far, but she merely took a few steps away from the prying eyes. She bit her lip nervously as she held the towel just a little tighter around her small thin form feeling a little uneasy what with so many men around. Then again it had been a very stressful day at the moment turning when her saviour made his way over to her, asking if she was alright.
"I'm a little cold and tired, but I'm alright. Thank you for saving me," replied Wendy tiredly as she glanced around watching the crewman still looking at her like they'd never seen a women before.
Deciding to turn her gaze elsewhere she attempted to scan the pirate ship that she had asked not five minutes to have a closer look at. Except she hadn't expected the shadow man to end up dropping her in the midst of a raging ocean without knowing if she could swim or not. If she could swim she probably wouldn't have minded such a thing even if the drop had been a bit too high for her liking as she walked around the ship. This felt like a dream and yet when she pinched herself she realized that it was all really standing in front of her, only to startle when she heard the short little man address her saviour as Captain. That rattled her cage not realizing she had been saved by the highest ranking member of the ship.
"Your the Captain of this lovely ship?" she asked in shock and wonder as she stared around at it all, noticing the cliche pirate flag making her roll her eyes some.
She certainly hadn't expected to be rescued by the Captain himself recalling all the stories in which most Captains would have just had one of their crew member do it. This was certainly not what she was expecting for sure as she allowed herself to tour the ship walking up and around surveying it all. After all, it wasn't very often that she came across such a ship let alone a pirate one like she saw in her dreams. She was just about to start playing with the necklace she normally wore around her neck when she realized that it was no longer around her neck. Nervously she started looking around for it, worried that she might have lost it overboard and praying that wasn't the case. It was the only thing she had left of her real father knowing that she had been adopted for quite some time not that she ever let on. It was only as she was making her way down the stairs when she spotted a few of the crewman passing around something.
"Hey give that back it's mine," replied Wendy irritably only to watch as one of the members become startled enough that he lost his grip on the medallion.
She watched in horror as it went sailing through the air, feeling her heart about to break only to watch it land just in front of the pirate captain. She swallowed thickly watching as he slowly bent down to pick it up, while she tried to find the courage to march over there and take it. She wouldn't allow her father's necklace to be tossed around like a ball and she certainly wasn't leaving the ship without it either. Taking a deep breath she marched slowly back over to him, her damp hair not doing much or the towel as she came to stand in front of him.
"Please sir, it's the only thing I have left of my father," replied Wendy pleadingly as she chanced a glance at the Pirate Captain willing him to understand what it meant to her. Her mother had passed it on down to her and she wasn't about to let it out of her sight as her hands itched to grab hold of it once more.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 1224tag: Killian Jones clothes: clicky notes: wendy needs a hero!credit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • "It'll be okay Bae," replied Wendy for the last time as the shadow finally pulled her away from the only home she had ever known to some far away land.
She still didn't really know who or what it was, but it certainly knew how to move as it dodged between chimneys and carried her onward. Everything was utterly spectacular as she told it go higher and faster which he seemed to understand. He certainly put on a burst of speed as he flew past Big Ben and headed for what seemed like a star far off in the distance. She of course was chatting very amicably with the spirit, though other than mentioning Neverland at her window it had gone quiet. Which was fine since she normally could talk just about anyone head's off if given the chance and honestly she didn't mind quiet people.
So she continued to talk, occasionally asking if she was bothering the spirit, but he remained quiet as he continued his destination to the star. She had to admit the longer they flew the more she wondered if it was such a good idea to fly into a star given it was way out in space or so she had been told. The problem was it had started to fog over which was confusing to the young girl since a moment ago the sky had been clear. Now there was all this fog and clouds so thick you couldn't see anything and yet the shadow continued onward making her wonder if he even knew where he was going. In fact she wasn't even sure where they were going as they seemed to have lost visual of the ground. Did he know where he was going? He seemed to and when she asked if they were going the right way he still gave her silence. Some flight this turned out to be as she fell back into silence herself only to find the shadow diving down some. She braced herself a bit finding that flying was both thrilling and a bit scary only to stare out to nothing, but water? What had seemed like moments ago to be city was now nothing more than water which surprised the young girl as she tried to see better. It was all really confusing actually only to startle when the shadow told her that they were close to Neverland which made the girl very excited.
She was finally going to see what magic was like and have some good old fun. What did Baelfire know of magic anyways? This seemed so amazing that it was hard to believe what she was seeing. She actually pinched herself just in case, but no this was definitely happening as he lowered them down further and then became parallel with the water. This was amazing so surely he had to be wrong about all kinds of magic being dangerous. The shadow certainly seemed nice even if he didn't really talk much and he had said that she would be home before morning. Was wanting one night away from her fighting parents really that hard to understand? Only as she turned her head to see around that she finally noticed the mysterious island of Neverland coming into view making her very excited. It looked amazing as she stared down seeing what looked like dolphins jumping through the waves only to realize they were mermaids. She tried to wave to them, but they didn't respond as they continued to head towards the island and causing her to start talking incessantly.
"It's amazing. Can we take a closer look? Is that a pirate ship? Oh gosh can we go see it?" asked Wendy enthusiastically, but the shadow ignored her questions.
Well that was very rude as he continued to take her closer to the island ignoring her wants of exploring the island and telling him that he could put her down. Except, he wasn't putting her down and that made her start struggling, but then again they were in open water. Still, she had never seen an ocean or any big mass of water that she didn't really know how deep it was as she continued to struggle in his arms. Suddenly, he was gone and she was falling making her startle wondering what had caused him to let go of her. She was actually getting scared wondering if she possessed any flying powers only to find herself dropping feet first into the ocean. Normally, this wouldn't be such a bad thing, except Wendy had never had the opportunity to learn to swim and thus started struggling against the water.
"HELP! HELP! I CAN'T SWIM!" yelled Wendy as loud as she could while she struggled against the water doing her best to keep herself above it. She may not know how to swim, but she knew how to fight and she was putting up quite a fuss though thankfully the shadow had the decency to drop her just in view of the pirate ship. If she wanted to have her fun, than she could do it herself as he flew off ignoring the cries of the young girl as she struggled against the current.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 981tag: Killian Jones clothes: clicky notes: wendy needs a hero!credit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.

WENDY &CHARMING
Awww...I'm sure Wendy would really like that...maybe Neal got busy and asked Charming or something to go pick up Wendy after school? If that makes sense...she's kind of having some trouble with this one girl, Tasha. (big meanie), but yeah i could definitely see some interest in this. and being able to talk about like her dad and not really feeling like she fits in...and her fears that she's just in the way and just all cutesy parent daughter stuff...but yeah I'm game for this haha...I'm not really big on the word 'NO' lol and I love charming..he's great.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Wendy was actually surprised that he was taking so well to her little made up world considering that most grown up wouldn't like some child bossing them around. True, it was only really in fun, but even when she'd pay pretend with some of her nannies they always reprimanded her for such nonsense. So she was a bit nervous about how to handle the situation especially since she didn't really know him all that well. Yet, he seemed to take it all in good fun for which she was relieved as she circled him as though inspecting her newest member to the group. After all, one could never be certain what kind of crew mates your going to get if you don't at least inspect them for 'damaged' goods. Then again even as a ruthless pirate captain, she was nothing if not sweet and open-minded that she wouldn't have cared regardless. That was all mixed into the Wendy package and even though she joked about hurting people, she was not really one for violence. Not even if it meant defending herself as she could have when Tasha attacked her, but when had violence ever solved anything? Better to ignore the situation than to cause more trouble and besides Tasha seemed to have formed a big enough clique that she would have most likely being ignored. It had stung that she got to push her around so much, but not once had she shed a single tear for that girl. Besides, she didn't need to give the students more reason to harass her even with the knowledge that she had no parents to speak of.
Sure, she had Neal, but it was strange living with him especially when he was far more adjusted than she ever was. No, she wouldn't complain though because it was better than living in an orphanage as she tried to locate her brothers, though she wasn't sure what to make of it. Not that she didn't love her brothers, but well they weren't really in her mind given that they had grown up so much. It was hard for the young girl seeing all her brothers grown up and finding herself trapped in her 13 years of age give or take. Even if she did locate her brothers, she wasn't sure that was the best place for her because in essence they were like strangers to her. That didn't mean she would stop loving them, but they hadn't had the same experiences or could probably even attempt to relate to her. In the end if they did suggest leaving Storybrooke, she would probably deny their suggestion because even though this place wasn't home, it was becoming one. It would merely take some time to get sorted assuming Tasha didn't even up making things harder. Still, she had a feeling her troubles with Tasha were just beginning and she was right on the bottom of the school yard food chain. Which was not exactly the best spot to be, but it was only her first day of school. Surely it couldn't get much worse, but it wasn't like she would complain anyways.
She flicked her gaze back proudly at her latest crew member, trying to really get into her character of captain even though she too no chance of anything happening. She watched half amused as he seemed to contemplate the fact that she had denied the fact that he didn't have a ship at all. Which probably made it all more comical given that this had been just some game to her and here was this man actually taking an interest in what she enjoyed. Though his question about what she should be called made her stop as she contemplated it herself. She could go by her real name, but that was rather boring. Surely she had read about some sort of Pirate name, trying to look her memories of books on Pirates.
"You may call me...Captain Rum. Welcome to the Chum Bucket," replied Wendy triumphantly as she finally figured out a name for herself.
Oh yes, she was having quite a bit of fun with this especially since he was letting her take charge of it all and not being mean about any of it. Probably why she was continuing this charades instead of giving it up the moment he stepped foot onto the boat, having not realized he was in fact here. The simple fact that he had played into her delusions allowed her to continue her little game which made her so happy. Especially after that truly awful day spent at school and getting pushed around. Though she did catch the small smile gracing the man's face, which was good. She always tried to make one person smile around her and it seemed that her childlike delusions were giving him such amusement. She nodded when he mentioned that it was a heinous crime to take a captain's cookies and even suggested a better form of punishment.
"Perhaps, but the treasure room is just as torturous you see. For there is a dragon down there and he can hypnotize people into hitting themselves for hours. Plus he sings really off key," informed Wendy, winking a bit as she pointed for some of her members to bring her cookies.
She was actually enjoying herself even if her arm was starting to became painful to use, but that wouldn't prevent her from her fun. She could tolerate pain since she was actually quite accident prone around where she was from, including the time she accidentally burned herself. Which ended with her having second degree burns along her right forearm and a new aversion to fire. Not that she cared much since she avoided it anyways as much as possible. She was just about to ask him something when he seemed to hunch over, giving her another 'pep' talk about her demoted guard. It was actually fun having an adult really get into things rather than yelling at her to stop this nonsense. Even better when he was sharing secrets with her as she pretended to ponder his decision.
"Hmm you are right there. The prisoner needs to be taught a lesson. You two...bring him back. He can rot in his watery grave and join Davey Jones," informed Wendy, nodding to the man like he had done good work.
She beamed proudly as she shouted out orders to to tie rocks to his feet so he couldn't get back on deck. It was kind of nice being in charge of it all, playing around with the man even if it was his ship. Still, he didn't seem too mad at the fact she was here unannounced, which was a good sign. Though she was starting to show signs that her right wrist wasn't in the best condition, from the way she didn't exactly flaunt it as much. She was still enthusiastic as ever, but she was abusing an obviously injured joint not that you would know first hand. It was only as she progressed longer into her world, that the pain started to get to her, yet not a single tear was shed. Why should she complain over something like a sprained if not broken wrist? Wasn't like anyone would care? And truthfully she didn't want to bother Neal with his problems. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • words: 1227tag: Killian Jones clothes: clicky notes: Captain Wendy reporting for duty, sir.credit: template is made by xxdawnxx from caution.
