When the pirate opened the door to speak to her, she had noticed that he had changed as well.. and despite the fact that she had been so angry at him earlier, she couldn't deny that he was incredibly attractive. For a moment, she was lost for words...but when he gave her the... compliment, she realized that he had been looking over her just as she had been looking him over. "I could say the same to you," She spoke softly. When he explained to her that Smee would set up a room, she was slightly surprised. Suddenly he was completely changed.. she had broken the wall. She had found the real man behind the pirate. She gloat, though..that wasn't right.
"Thank you.." She took the vial from him, and she looked it over before she lifted her gaze to his again. She stared at him for a moment, before blinking, realizing that she was looking in to those gorgeous blue eyes a little too long. Apparently the drinking and the salt water had definitely gone to her head. "I'll.. I'll leave you to your um.." she cleared her throat, and lifted a hand, touching the back of her neck. "Goodnight, then." Why did she want to not leave? It was probably some sort of strange..hero..thing. She knew that he was the one who saved her. He didn't have to.. she knew that, too. Regina would have paid him even if she was dead. There was no reason for him to not let her drown.

Villains DON'T GET HAPPY ENDINGS He did not fail to notice her gaze upon him, but he supposed it was because she saw him in different attire. It wasn't until he words that he titled his head to the side, and a bit of an arrogant smile slowly spread on his lips. Though it wasn't wide, it was there. "Did you just give me a compliment, Princess?" He said almost mockingly. Had she even meant to say it?
Perhaps she was giving him a dose of his own medicine, or she was being sarcastic -- a personality trait of hers that he had quickly noticed ever since she had been forced aboard the ship. She then thanked him, and what was more surprising, was that she took the vial without question. She trusted him that much? Or perhaps she would not drink it. Either way, his intentions of giving them to her were to assist her throat . . . so that he could continue to explore that, defiant side of her which he found himself to be rather enjoying. He had to keep reminding himself of why she was here and who he was.
She then spoke of how she would leave him, and bid him good night . . . yet she still stood in the doorway. They both did. She did not seem overly eager to leave, and he wasn't being so quick to dismiss her. "Was there, something else?" He asked, slightly raising his eyebrows, his voice containing a hint of a tease. "If you want to come in and join me for a drink, all you need do is ask," he added, assuming she was lingering here for a reason. "Rum helps keep the body warm . . . as does, other things," he hinted suggestively, as he gave her a bit of a wink in his playful remark.

He had asked her if she had complimented him. After blinking a couple of times, she cleared her throat, and answered. "I believe I did, Captain...don't let it go to your head." This was the first time she was being the slightest bit.. playful toward the pirate instead of being sarcastic and brutal. She wasn't being lewd...she wasn't spouting off sarcastic comments.. she was being sincere. Maybe the water had gone to her head. At any rate, she felt the desire to be..decent to him, instead of being a shrew. She did have intentions on drinking the contents of the vial. The worst that could happen was likely death, and he wouldn't have risked his own life to save her if he was going to just kill her off anyway.. So maybe it was a real help for her throat. She was willing to take the chance.
"Actually," She started to admit when he told her that all she needed to do was ask if she wanted to join him for a drink, "I wouldn't mind not..being alone right now." She didn't want to admit it, but even though it was her own fault, she was a bit shaken. "And being warm kinda sounds nice right now." Maybe not the suggestive way of being warm.. but maybe a drink. Or..that would probably be a bad idea too. Her throat still burned from the salt water. She waited until he allowed her in, and she stepped inside, wrapping the blanket that she had been given around her arms tighter.

Villains DON'T GET HAPPY ENDINGS She confirmed that she did indeed give him a compliment, though told him not to let it go to his head. "A bit too late for that, lass," he said with a smirk. He had no idea if she would accept the invitation -- for as he established before, she was quite unpredictable. But she did, saying that she wouldn't mind not being alone. Was she missing home then? Of course she was.
He had taken her from all that she knew and from those she had loved . . . that was the point. To cause her suffering as well as the suffering of his parents. This was all part of the grand plan. So he had no comforting words to offer -- nor would he. Perhaps it was also due to the fact that she had nearly died today. Regardless of the reason, she accepted, and even went on to say that being warm sounded nice. She didn't even sound sarcastic. He continued to smirk at her words, finding his response far too tempting to resist saying.
"I can certainly ensure that happens," he said suggestively, still wondering if she would come in. But when he stepped aside, she indeed came inside, and he closed the door behind them. He then walked passed her, toward the small table and picked up a pitcher, pouring the rum into a cup. "I would strongly suggest you drink the contents of that vial before the rum." He poured the other cup full of the beverage and just to make sure she drank the vial first, he held her cup in his hand, waiting for her to comply.

It seemed like the pirate could be witty without having to be lewd.. but maybe he was just going easy on her because of what had just happened. Emma hated to admit that she couldn't handle being by herself right now. That she actually needed the pirates company to make her feel better. She was scared because she thought she was invincible.. but when she was so close to dying, she was smacked in the face by her own mortality. "Apparently it didn't inflate too much..there's still room for both of us in here."
He'd made a remark about ensuring that she'd keep warm.. and then it hit her that he was being suggestive yet again. This time she let him get away with it. "I have no doubt that you will, Captain." she retorted. Perhaps her tone was a bit suggestive too.. but she wasn't about to take it back. Instead, she merely went with the flow. He advised her to drink the contents of the vial before drinking any rum, and she did just that. She pulled the cork off of the vial, and downed the liquid.
It took a moment for it to work, but it went down rather smooth, and it already felt like her throat was being soothed. "Wow.." she cleared her throat. "This stuff is pretty amazing." She gave him a small smile, and glanced down at the ground. "You don't have to keep calling me Princess, by the way. You can call me Emma..that's my name. Emma Swan." Her mother had chosen her middle name. Could ya tell?

Villains DON'T GET HAPPY ENDINGS She made a joke regarding his ego and how it was not too big for they were both able to fit in this room. Apparently, they were capable of having an actual conversation. And Hook wasn't sure if he liked this or not. It was becoming dangerously close to . . . being nice. And she was his prisoner! Yet, here he was, offering her a proper room to rest in, medicine to help her throat, and a cup of rum in his quarters. What the bloody hell was he thinking? Her next comment once again, further showed how unpredictable she was. He was trying to determine whether she was indeed returning his suggestive remark with a hint of suggestiveness of her own.
"Are you suggesting you would care to find out the most effective method?" He was pushing her; seeing how far she would go in her remarks. If she would return them or if she would have enough of them. After all, he quite enjoyed provoking people. He watched her drink the content of the vial without dispute and then commented about how well it worked.
"Aye. You wouldn't be the first to nearly drown, lass." If a man fell overboard, or another accident occurred . . . well, it was handy to have such remedies available. She then looked to the ground and said that he didn't have to call her princess; her name was Emma Swan. That was her full name then? Killian took a few steps toward her, extending the cup of rum for her to take with an amused smirk on his face. "Swan?" He repeated, a slight mockery in his voice, but it was feigned. He found it rather befitting. Graceful. Beautiful. Elegant. Ah yes. Swan she was.

She honestly wasn't sure what she was was suggesting. All she knew was the fact that she was alive, and she didn't want to waste it with playing it safe anymore. It all hit her at once.. this is where she was going to be staying on this ship for the rest of her life...and that would likely be a long, long time. It was clear that he didn't want her dead, it was likely for much more of a reason than just the fact that he needed her to get his money. He'd get it either way.. Regina wouldn't care if she were dead or alive.. But it was the fact that he had a heart that he couldn't let her die. "Maybe," she said simply, despite the fact that her mind was moving in a billion different directions.
Once the contents of the vial kicked in, she reached for a rum filled cup to start drinking. She wasn't sure this was the best idea, but it was better than getting hypothermia or something. she stared at the contents of the cup, but she hadn't drank any just yet. She was still wondering whether or not it would be wise to partake in such a mind altering substance again. He told her that she wasn't the first to nearly drown..it didn't surprise her, of course. They were after all on the ship...and a few drinks would likely knock someone over. If they were standing too close to the edge, they'd be in the water for sure. "Have you ever fell over?" She asked with a small tilt of her head.
She also wasn't shocked when he mocked her middle name, whether it was sincere mocking or just teasing. A small smile crept on her own lips and she laughed quietly. "Yeah.. my mother had high hopes for me apparently," she teased as well. "So what do I call you, anyway? Just.. Captain?"

Villains DON'T GET HAPPY ENDINGS She still must be traumatized from the experience of nearly drowning, for she was humoring him in his suggestive insinuations. Interesting. Very interesting indeed. Her next question distracted him from thinking of what else he could say to push the limits. She inquired as to whether he had ever fallen over.
Now that she held her cup, he took hold of his own cup, smirking at the question -- or more so his response to it. "I've never jumped overboard when there were deep and powerful currents, if that's what you're asking," he said, clearly teasing -- and slightly mocking -- her recent actions. Following his words, he took a sip of rum from his cup. "Not to mention sharks," he added, just to give her examples of what sort of dangers lurked in the water. And these were just the few very mild ones.
She then smiled and laughed at his response to her middle name, speaking of how her mother had high hopes for her. "Don't all mother's of princess?" He questioned, only somewhat rhetorically. Wasn't it the way that all royals were held with high hopes and expectations during their upbringing, as they would one day rule the kingdom. "Interesting choice though," he mused, thinking of her name of Swan. She was right; he didn't have to keep calling her princess; he was going to call her by her name . . . her middle name. She then asked him what she should call him.
"You can call me anything you like, love," he said suggestively as he winked at her. "Captain Hook is a name I obtained following the departure my hand from my arm," he stated, slightly raising his hook as his eyes rested on it. He then looked at her once more. He didn't know why he was being so casual with her. He should be trying to instill fear in her; not rant her permission to call him whatever she so pleased.
"I find it rather fitting," he continued. It added a certain . . . menace to his already widespread reputation. Though apparently, not widespread enough for Swan had not heard of him. At least that had now changed, and once his actions were revealed . . . the entire kingdom and beyond would know who he was. And that he was one to be feared.

She felt a little silly when he put it to her like that. What was she even thinking? She wasn't thinking..and that was the problem. "I guess in my dramatic rage I forgot the fact that there are sharks in there.. Oh, and the fact that i'm not a strong swimmer by any means." She was sure that she was going to get picked on about this for quite some time - maybe she'd never live it down - but it was best to be honest. Just as she was with her full name.. Not many people knew that her second name was Swan. She wasn't sure why she had even told him.. it just sort of happened. Well, it was out there now.
"It's not quite the same as other mothers of princesses.. My mother loves animals..they sort of flock to her. One of her favorites is the swan.. She always thought i'd turn out graceful and elegant. Little did she know that her princess would rather run in the mud, and get her hands dirty." She glanced at the contents of the cup, and grinned a little. "And apparently drink rum after leaping in to oceans." She lifted the cup to her lips and took a long drink that drained nearly half of the cup, wincing a little. She still had yet to get used to that burn.
When he told her she could call him whatever she wanted, she grinned once more, biting at her bottom lip. "Don't tempt me." She mused, even though it was more teasing this time than sarcastic. "Captain Hook.. Hook, then. I was just being a jerk when I said it before, but I guess if it's what people call you.." Her voice started to trail off a little. Perhaps she had been a little bit too mean before. They both were, really though.. but she was just being defensive.

Villains DON'T GET HAPPY ENDINGS She admitted that she had been dramatic and leaped into the water without even being a strong swimmer. "Well hopefully you learned your lesson. Not sure you'll be so fortunate the next time should it happen again." Surely she wasn't dramatic enough to try and commit suicide . . . then again, she was on the ship for the next significant while. As she went on to explain her mother a little, Hook took another swig of his drink, though he was listening quite carefully. He moved to sit down in his chair, growing more at ease. And there was of course another across the small table should she wish to join him.
She explained that animals flocked to her mother, and that she had always had a particular liking to swans. He'd heard rumors about Snow White; there was a reason so many remained loyal to her despite the queen's wrath. But it didn't make Hook wish to be loyal to anyone. Still, he listened to her explain the reasoning for why a swan. As he thought earlier, it certainly was a fitting name for her. The Princess further showed why she deviated from most other princess, and it caused a bit of a smirk on the pirate's face.
"You make it sound like dirty hands is a bad thing," he began to say, a suggestive expression on his face as he slightly raised an eyebrow. "Where as in my experience, getting dirty has rather . . . pleasurable results," he added, clearly taking her words and making them sound less innocent and more, perverted. It wasn't as if this was his first time doing such a thing though. He watched her take a long drink of the rum, and noticed that she showed less aversion to it now; that it went down with more ease.
"While rum never needs a reason to be consumed, there is at least a logic in drinking it now," he suggested smiling, for it would warm her body after having been in the freezing water . . . and well, nearly dying. "Besides, I see your aversion to it is lessening," he said teasingly, vocalizing his earlier thoughts. She went on to speak of temptation, and once again, he couldn't refrain from taking her comment in another direction. "Tempting you sounds rather . . . enticing." Tempting her to anything, really. How could he resist.
She went on to say that she had called him Hook to be rude, but he had not considered it that way. "If I didn't want to be called it, I would have found another substitute for my missing hand," he said, raising his hook a little. "But alas, it adds a certain, originality, wouldn't you say, lass?" He asked with once again, a suggestive gaze as he grinned, taking another gulp of the delicious beverage.

Emma, feeling a little embarrassed at this point, nodded and sighed. "Oh trust me. I've definitely learned my lesson. I was just angry.. I wanted revenge on Regina. I just wasn't thinking. Everything was a blur. I was upset, and feeling a little drunk, and apparently that combination made jumping overboard in to rough dark water seem like a great idea." She didn't know why she was talking to him with such ease. This wasn't normal of a thing to do to one's captor..was it?
She watched him sit down, and she took a seat near him, placing her cup down on the table while she spoke of her mother. When she finished speaking, Hook remarked about getting her hands dirty. The suggestiveness was not lost on her... especially when he spoke of how getting dirty led to pleasurable experiences. A light blush touched her cheeks, and she cleared her throat a little. "I'm sure that our experiences with getting dirty are far different. ..to an extent." Who was to say that Emma's virtue was intact? He never actually asked..he only assumed. Emma was a rather rebellious princess..she did what she wanted to. Who was to say that didn't count with people, as well?
"You keep flirting with me, Hook." She mused from out of the blue. "Why haven't you done anything about it instead of just hinting at it?" It wasn't just the drink, or the near death experience... she was starting to see the pirate as a man, and not only as her captor.

Villains DON'T GET HAPPY ENDINGS Emma spoke of how she had learned her lesson, admitting that she had been angry and that she had wanted revenge on Regina. The name, reminded him of why she was actually here; of the fact that she was his prisoner, yet he was treating her like some sort of honored guest. And he wasn't moving to change that. He didn't know what it was about Swan. Of course she was stunning, but it was more than that. And Hook didn't like that he was letting himself become smitten about a woman. To push out the thoughts, he took another large sip, before responding to her words.
"Just a thought, love . . . it would be easier to get revenge on Regina if you're actually alive," he teased, knowing she was accepting her mistake but . . . no. He shouldn't be picking sides. It didn't matter. He wasn't involved in their family affairs. Though, perhaps it was too late for that considering he was taking coin from Regina to cause suffering upon Snow and James. She took a seat next to him, and he watched her closely, not failing to notice the color that touched her cheeks upon his words. It was enough to cause a hint of a smile to form on his lips. Apparently, he was capable of making the princess blush after all. "Aye, I don't doubt that. But I think you'll find my version far more . . . enjoyable," he said with the all too familiar suggestive tone as he raised his cup to his lips.
It was probably a good thing he didn't take a sip, for her next words would have caused him to slightly choke. Not necessarily in a bad it. It was the unexpectedness of her words that caused him to pause. Her bluntness about how he was flirting with her, and how he had not actually done anything about it. He looked at her, a flicker of curiosity making it's way on his face before he quickly recovered, and smirked instead. He set his cup down on the table, and leaned toward her.
"That almost sounds like you want me to do something about it," he teased. He then raised his hook, tilting it to the side so that the cool metal slowly trailed down her neck, his tongue moving over his lips in an almost lewd manner. "Perhaps I need some more convincing that you're worth it," he taunted, though knew of course, that she would be. He was merely playing along, entertaining the suggestion . . . enjoying the fact that she was unpredictable and thus, he didn't know what to expect.

Emma didn't take anything from him speaking about her getting revenge on Regina, aside from the fact that he seemed to want all royals to suffer. She didn't think once that he was waning toward choosing her side.. However, she did give him a small grin. "Thanks for the advice." It was sarcastic..but it was playful, rather than snappy. "I'll keep that in mind next time I decide to have a weird nervous breakdown."
He had been being suggestive again, when she continued talking about getting her hands dirty.. but he seemed to be completely off guard when she called him out on his flirting with her. When his shock wore off, he had mentioned that perhaps she wanted him to do something about it...and maybe right now, she did. She closed her eyes as his hook trailed over her neck. This time, it wasn't something that made her skin crawl..but rather, made it come alive with a shiver. He also said that he needed convincing that she was worth it. He was playing a game..now she would have to play as well.
"Well I could waste the time convincing you.. or I could just do something about it myself." She stood up from her seat, and moved toward him. She perched herself in a straddling position on his lap.. one that would be harder if she hadn't been wearing pants instead of a long dress. "What'll it be, Captain Hook?"

Villains DON'T GET HAPPY ENDINGS She sarcastically thanked him for the advice, though it was not meant to be in an offensive way. He knew when she was being sarcastic to be insulting and defiant, and when she was doing it in a more playful manner -- like right now. He had experienced both and either way, he found her defiance and sarcasm to be quite attractive . . . as were many things about her. He however did not reply, for he soon became distracted by her next actions.
She firstly stated that she could waste time convincing him or do something about it, before she then rose from her seat. Hook watched her intently, wondering if she was about to leave, though something about the way she spoke suggested otherwise. And much to his delight, she had no intention of leaving. Instead, she moved toward him as his eyes locked on her, entranced by her every move and word. Then, as she continued to prove how unpredictable she was, she sat astride him. His face slightly flinched at the action . . . not because it caused any discomfort in the slightest, but because of how she was seated, he suddenly found himself quite aroused and his body was involuntarily reacting to this arousal that she was causing to stir within him.
She was so close to him, and he knew he could just lean forward and kiss her -- something he had wanted to do for some time now. His lips slightly parted as he looked intently at her, his gaze filled with desire. It was by some miracle that he hadn't moved to touch her either with his hand, hook, or mouth. Instead, he just watched her, trying to remain in control of himself . . . only for one reason that was revealed with his next words. "Go on then, Swan," he urged, using her middle name that she just recently revealed to him. A smirk began to form on his face as he continued with his next words. "Seduce me."

It was a surprise to Emma that Hook didn't touch her when she straddled him. It was quite aware that he wasn't going to stop her.. in fact, judging the buldge she felt in his pants she could tell that in fact he was rather enjoying it. When he used her middle name, instead of calling her Princess or Emma, her lips curved in to a smile. She wouldn't let just anyone get away with that, but she kind of enjoyed it coming from his lips.
Whatever had come over Emma wasn't about to stop now.. Not now that she was just as aroused as he was. He told her to seduce him, and she leaned in close, her lips just barely brushing against his. "I already have..." she whispered before capturing his lips with her's. What did she have to lose? She was going to be on the ship indefinitely.. This was going to be her home..and she was going to enjoy it. She could have thought of far worse fates. And maybe.. just maybe.. Hook saved her from a life she never wanted to begin with.
