Emma and Jefferson had their ups and downs over the time they had known each other...mostly downs... and at the moment, they were in one of the ups...at least she had hoped so.. Henry had pestered her about wanting to see Grace, so she decided that while he was at Regina's, that she'd make a play date with him and Grace. First though, she'd have to talk to Jefferson. Emma never quite knew what to expect when she saw him, but she was confident that he'd be on board with the idea. She stood at his door, and knocked lightly.
While she waited, she shoved her hands in to her pockets, thinking about the horrible things the two of them had been through. Jefferson was a victim of circumstance, and Emma knew that. She was rather easy to forgive and forget..which is why she was now even friends with Regina. This was her way of making things okay between the two of them. Reaching out with the olive branch of peace.

holding conflicting realities in Jefferson was currently working on his latest order put in by one of his clients. His work wasn't for the need of money, but rather, to keep himself busy when Grace was not with him. She had a life here, she made friends that she enjoyed spending time with. His twenty eight years had consisted of obsessively watching her, not caring about anything or anyone apart from her. But he knew he had to find his own things to do... and that when she was with her friends, he shouldn't be over protectively watching her every move.
A knock at the door pulled him from his actions, as he set down the needle and thread. He made his way over to it, opening it to reveal Emma Swan standing on the other end. It was difficult to characterize his relationship with Emma. He was fond of Henry, as he had been the one to convince him to reach out to Grace.
That, and Grace was good friends with the boy. Which was perfectly fine with Jefferson. Besides, he would rather be on good terms with this mother, rather than Henry's other mother: Regina. "Sheriff," he greeted as he stepped aside so that she could enter. "What brings you here?" He questioned curiously, his tone indifferent to her presence.
