It's Always Nice

TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION

It appeared that the impossible had finally happened: there was peace in Storybrooke. Well, for the time being anyway. Everyone was just waiting for the next crisis to ensue, but no one stopped their lives. It was actually quite nice to have time to just relax. Hook would have embraced it more had the guilt of what happened to the fairies not been weighing heavily on him. Until they found a way to free the fairies, his mind would never be brought to ease. But alas, he had to remember the good things. Such as his relationship with Emma. The two were finally able to be together, explore the feelings they had for one another and just casually spend time in each other's company.

With that, came a fairly good rapport with her parents as well. Tonight was proof of that. For Killian was on his way to the Chamings' residence . . . not to meet Emma, but to meet David. The two were going to go out for drinks tonight and, bond he supposed. He was not opposed to the idea of course though he imagined David would have a few things to say to him as any protective father may. The thought rather amused Killian for he had hundreds of years on David, but far be it from the reformed pirate to create strain in their relationship. He was glad that both Mary and David seemed relatively accepting of him. He was not going to do anything to make them regret that. Upon arriving at their residence, he knocked on the door, clad in his usual attire and ready to head to whichever bar they were attending tonight.

Charming heard the knock on the door and looked over at snow for a moment. He was going out tonight with Hook a pirate to have drinks this was something everyone was needing with there finally being some peace in Storybrooke there wasnt a reason why they couldnt go out and celebrate or let off some steam and have a good time the Dark one was out of town and though Hook would never admit it he could tell that something was troubling the pirate. That was part of Davids reasoning for going out with him tonight. Another part though he would never admit it is because he owed it to hook to give him a chance he had not only saved Emma's life but his own curing him of the dreamshade. It really looked as though Hook wanted to change and he knew better then anyone that second chances was something a Hero would give.

As David grabbed his black leather jacket he headed over to the door opening it he saw hook there and smirked for a minute before shaking his head. Walking over to Snow he smiled "we won't be out too long" he kissed her and then made his way over to the door walking out into the hall and closing the door behind him he looked at hook " Shall we mate?" he said using a little of hooks pirate slang jokingly. As he made his way down the stairs and outside he pulled out his keys " hope you don't mind me driving"

TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION

When the door opened, Hook smiled and gave a bit of a nod to Snow who was in the background. "We shall," he responded with a smirk playing on his features as he heard David use the term mate. He had once said it with sarcasm and mocking . . . back when Hook was more on the vilaineous side, but this time, it sounded more like teasing. He then went on to ask if it was alright that he be the the one to drive. "Be my guest, mate," Killian answered as the y began to make their way down the stairs.

"Perhaps the time will come when I will learn how to steer a moving car." Those strange large pieces of metal. Hook's introduction to them when first arriving at Storybrooke, had involved getting hit by one. "But fear not; today is not that day," he said with a smirk remaining in place and a light tease in his voice. "And if you're worried about a one handed man driving, don't be. Surely driving a moving car is similar to steering a ship. And I'm a hell of a captain," he finished arrogantly. So how hard could driving really be? It felt odd, yet welcome, to speak about such a casual topic with David. After all the tension that had existed among them all . . . it was nice to finally be able to be at ease in each other's company.
