holding conflicting realities in Jefferson was starting a new project. His daughter, Grace, had a strong enjoyment for tea parties and the beverage itself, whether it was imaginary or not. She often spoke of how wonderful it would be to serve tea to others, and drink it with them, etc. Thus, Jefferson had decided to make her imaginative game, a reality. He had purchased a small shop that he had renovated and made into a cafe. When Grace was old enough, she could take care of the business, if they were in Storybrooke for this long. She had been thrilled with the idea and Jefferson was determined to get it up and running. Most of the renovations were done, the sign was up and they were now technically open. This of course wasn't for the money as they weren't in need of it. But this was something his daughter was already ecstatic over and Jefferson wanted to ensure it remained a success. In a week's time they would have the official grand opening of Tea Tyme, and in the meantime, there were still many preparationss to be made. Jefferson did not plan to work here himself all that much. He intended to hire someone to do so, which was why he had advertised for the position. It was also why the door was open today as he went through their inventory, and had samples of the drink ready.
Engaging with the citizens of Storybrooke wasn't exactly his idea of a grand time, however... for his daughter, he was willing to do anything. Whether someone came in to apply for the position, or whether it was out of intrigue, Jefferson hoped the townspeople would start to come, even if it was just to peak in on the inside. In the meantime, Jefferson would lay the finishing touches on the place, eager for the project to be complete. Had Grace not been in school currently, she would have most certainly been here with him. The soft chime of the bells caused him to raise his gaze from his papers, having heard someone enter... their first official visitor.

Regina had heard of this new project Jefferson had gotten himself into for his daughter’s sake. The name was...Interesting. Not necessarily bad. The spelling was wrong. But then a shop called Tea Time spelled correctly was just boring. Tea Tyme was...intriguing at least she supposed. And no she wasn’t being petty. Yes...She was a touch envious. Jefferson and her had...It was a marvel really. After everything they’d been through, all the betrayals and heartbreak, they’d slowly managed to patch things up. The incident with mother framing her had been the trigger ironically enough. The thing that had been meant to destroy her hope, shatter her heart and spirit had been the foundation of her amends with him. In her desperation, she’d run to him as she always did. And in her weak and fragile state, she’d laid her heart bare, expressed all those feelings, everything she’d been holding back and hiding from him for so long. Without Mother’s intervention, Regina very much doubted she’d have had the nerve to pay him a visit, not after the hospital, not after she’d told him quite clearly she was done with him as much as she could never mean that. That didn’t stop her from being a tad jealous though. He was so close to his daughter. And they even lived together. Although things were going well with Jefferson, the same could not quite be said about her son Henry. Henry was thrilled to learn that Regina hadn’t killed Archie. But Mother...had certainly complicated things. Henry was willing to see Regina...occasionally. But now he lived with Emma. She barely got to see him, her son! This Tea Tyme thing drove home that point that while Grace was the center of Jefferson’s world, the light of his life, his support...Henry could not be that same force for Regina. She wasn’t even entirely certain Henry thought redemption was possible for her. But she should try to cheer up! She didn’t want to bring Jefferson down with her gloomy mood. She was here to offer encouragement, ideally be his first customer and well..If she was perfectly honest, she just really wanted to see him. Bells chimed as Regina stepped inside, her lips curling into a smile when she laid her eyes on Jefferson. “Is it too early to buy some tea?” she asked, tone teasing.

holding conflicting realities in Jefferson looked toward the door when he heard someone enter... and that someone was no other than Regina. He gave an ever so slight smile as she asked if it was too early for coffee. The two had somewhat cleared th air between them, though he imagined their past would always be there. Unforgotten. "And here I was thinking that you were going to drop off an application," he sarcastically joked. He obviously knew that was never going to happen, but felt the need to make a jest about it.
"It's never too early for tea," he assured her. Though he supposed as an avid tea drinker, he was a bit bias. He pulled a menu of their drinks, moving toward Regina to pass it to her. "What kind would you like?" He asked. Was she truly here for tea? Or had something else happened? She looked at ease, for the most part. But he also knew what was happening in the town right now, and how she was affected by it.
