(I wasn't sure if you were reserving this for anyone so I figured I'd post. If you are I can delete it!) "Neal, please."Snow bit her lower lip as she tried to assess the problem with her infant son. He wailed harder as the moments went on in which his mother didn't solve his issue. The woman felt panic rise in her chest as she struggled to comprehend what her son wanted. "Alright," she said, picking him up from his cradle and holding him to her chest. She struggled to think over the sound of his crying in her ear. "You're not hungry," she listed off what she already knew, trying not to think on how odd she sounded talking to an infant as if expecting him to answer. "You're not wet either."
She wasn't sure what else there was to take care of. For a moment she nearly reached for the phone to call David though she refrained. He was working and she didn't want to bother him just because she was failing at soothing their child. She tried to shush the baby but wound up only stoking his cries.

Snow had to admit it was better than practicing at Granny's. The older woman was fond of her crossbow, yet even Granny wouldn't fire it for accuracy practice inside her inn. She chuckled lightly at the woman's explanation, feeling a bit better now that the shock of the situation was wearing off. "Perhaps you should work on reversing that. Asking questions before shooting might save you a bit of trouble."
Her smile faltered at Katalina's response. "That's nonsense," she assured her. "I hardly believe I'm saying this, but one more pirate wouldn't be so terrible." She smiled, hoping that the woman wouldn't think that she couldn't be included. She knew Kat was a bit of a loner but she had no need to act so. She knew Snow, and the princess knew that Killian was close with her.
"You should stop by the station soon. I'll have David tell me when you arrive so I can meet you there."

Snow ignored the woman's sarcastic remark. She was concentrated on helping the woman, not being offended by her remarks. She couldn't help crack a smile at the comment on her name, despite the importance of the situation. She wasn't sure if the woman was growing delirious from the lack of blood or if she was speaking truthfully. "Well, Kat," she said, looking over the shivering woman. "It may surprise you, but I'm quite used to working with pirates." Rather 'a' pirate though she didn't feel the need to explain.
"My camp isn't too far from here," she assured her. "Do you think you can stand?" She bit her lower lip, trying to assess the damage that the girl was facing. "If not I can run back and get someone to help carry you." She wasn't sure if the pirate's pride would allow it, but she couldn't let her stumble along by herself.

Snow was assured by her step-mother's words. She nodded as she watched the young woman approach the stable boy. The princess was distracted by the sight of her mother's former maid, Johanna, approaching her. The older woman had become one of her own attendants upon the passing of the queen, causing Snow to grow quite attached to her.
Daniel felt his heart beat harder against his chest as Regina approached him. He tried to keep his gaze aloof, not wanting to meet her eyes just yet as he was unsure if he'd be able to keep the look of adoration from being expressed. His hands trembled slightly at his sides as he longed to take the woman into his embrace. "Everyone has been looking at you," he reminded her softly, finally feeling he was composed enough to chance a look at her. His gaze shifted to her, chest tightening at the sight. He felt he would never be whole again now that she was married to someone else.
"I can't be faulted for looking at the most beautiful woman in the room." He was aware that he was looking at her for other reasons, which he was certain she knew of.

Snow observed the item in his hand, deliberating on it. "She might enjoy it," she nodded. Her gaze followed his to Neal, smiling as she watched her son. "And we'll need to find some toys for Neal," she said, reaching down to adjust the little hat upon her son's head. "And Emma..." She frowned softly, trying to figure out what her daughter would enjoy. She wasn't as easy to purchase a gift for as Neal was.

( ) Snow was quite proud of her new step-mother. She believed Regina to have carried herself with the proper amount of grace and decorum fit for a queen. She stood at her father's elbow, smiling upon the guests that greeted the newly enhanced royal family. Briefly the young girl wondered when it would be suitable to ask if she was to have any half-siblings in the near future. She imagined that perhaps it was just a bit too early to ask. Her eyes roamed the hall, settling upon one of the servants lingering near the back. She recognized him from the stables, having seen him when she rode the day after being run away with by her horse. Her gaze narrowed slightly as the young man openly stared at her new step-mother. As Leopold stepped away to make his rounds about the room, Snow moved closer to Regina. "That stable boy is eyeing you," she warned her, hoping that the woman wouldn't be too offended. "Shall I tell father to send him away?"

Snow blushed at his question as she shook her head. "No," she admitted, not embarrassed over marrying a former shepherd. The redness upon her cheeks was merely from his blunt question. The prince was perplexing though she found herself drawn into him. It would be interesting to learn who he truly was and how he managed to live as his twin brother.
She smiled as her father offered her his arm, neglecting his wife to guide his daughter. "Dinner is served in the dining room," Leopold spoke to his guests, one hand resting upon his daughter's arm currently entwined in his own. "If you would care to follow me." He smiled at his guests before leading the way, his wife sullenly following the pair.

Snow drew her cloak a bit tighter around her body. It was cold in the Enchanted Forest, reminding her of the chill back in Storybrooke. The thought of the town, of Emma and Henry sent a painful pang to her chest. She knew that they were safe and happy though it didn't stop her from wishing they were with her and David. As the group stopped to make camp she offered to help gather firewood. Despite her queenly status she wanted to be useful. She'd live on her own, on the run, and was used to foraging.
As she moved through the brush she paused, hearing a noise. For a moment she reached for the bow strung over her shoulder. She realized it was a human, hearing a woman cry for help. She started to move faster toward the voice, finding a stranger sitting beneath a tree. Her gaze quickly fell to the bloodstain upon her clothing. "Are you alright?" she asked, capable of seeing that the woman wasn't. The question was something of a reflex. She knelt beside the stranger, quickly taking off her cloak to place over her.
How had the woman become soaked to the skin? "My name is Snow," she explained, trying to make sure that the woman was coherent. She couldn't help her to the camp if she passed out. "What's your name? Who did this to you?"

(Should we skip to after the ceremony? And I believe I said I would take on Daniel if we needed him.)
Snow slipped her hand into the young woman's, hoping that the gesture wasn't too forward of her. She beamed at her before bending to grab the basket she'd placed at her feet. The petals were of the first blooms of the season. She walked alongside her soon to be mother to the hall where the ceremony was to be held. She squeezed the woman's hand in encouragement before letting go.
Taking a deep breath and pushing her shoulders back, Snow set off down the aisle ahead of Regina. She distributed her flowers carefully, having planned in her mind how she would throw them in order to ensure that she had enough to last her entire walk. She'd been terribly nervous about running short much to her father's amusement. Upon reaching the end of the aisle she took a seat next to Regina's mother, wondering how it would be to have a step-grandmother.

Snow was surprised that he'd turn the question on her, asking if she recalled how she'd felt the day she married David. She smiled, expression soft as she thought back. "I was terribly nervous," she admitted. "It wasn't even our first wedding." She chuckled, realizing that not many knew that she and David had been married before the event. "A dear friend married us earlier so that David's mother could see us joined before she died." Her smile faltered as she thought on the event.
"We'd quested to find magical water at Lake Nostos. Certainly you're aware of the body of water," she teased, recalling their fight there before returning to Storybrooke. They'd all come a long way since that day. She could hardly believe that her daughter was marrying the pirate that nearly sabotaged their plans by working with Cora.
"The water was meant to save David's mother though she poured it into the wedding goblet to heal me instead; King George had tricked me into drinking a potion that would have left me barren." A life without children seemed like a desolate life to her, even with true love.
"Despite technically being married already I was dreadfully nervous for our public wedding. To have so many people staring at you, watching you wed. Yet as soon as I looked into David's eyes..." She trailed off, realizing that she'd grown wistful after a moment. She shook her head slightly, an easy smile returning to her features. "Once Emma reaches you at the altar you'll be perfectly at ease."
His other question caused her to nod. "It was worth it," she admitted. "All the fighting, all the hopelessness. The road to true love is never easy though it is one that needs to be endured." She felt her chest tighten slightly in emotion as he spoke of his love for Emma. She smiled, the apples of her cheeks aching slightly from the strength of it. "I'm pleased to hear it, Killian. Knowing she is to marry someone who loves her so strongly is a great relief to a parent."

Snow figured he was right in assuming that they should return. She didn't want her father thinking that she was allowing this prince to take liberties with her. She pondered the man, finding that he was far different than she could have imagined. That he was masquerading as his twin made him strangely interesting to her. "We should go back," she nodded.
"You were a shepherd?" she inquired, having caught the fact during his explanation. "Do you wish to return to your old life?" She would be upset if she was transplanted into another life. She wondered if he had any family remaining on his farm.

"Target practice in the woods?" she questioned, heart still hammering in her chest. Snow ran a hand through her cropped hair in an effort to calm down. She took a deep breath before nodding at the woman's apology. "It's alright, Kat," she assured her. She gave a short, breathless laugh; now that the imminent danger had passed it was almost funny. "I hope you hadn't been trying to shoot me," she rolled her eyes in amusement. "That would hardly be a way to greet a friend."
Taking a few steps forward as her heart rate calmed she observed the firearm. "If you wanted target practice you could probably ask Emma or David if you could use the range at the station. You won't run into the risk of accidentally shooting someone there."

"It's difficult, when everyone is looking at you," she spoke her fear. "Though I suppose as soon as you walk out they'll all be looking at you instead." She smiled, glad that she had such a beautiful step-mother. After her mother passed Snow had become first lady of the kingdom. Where she would always trail her mother at court events, she was now premier lady of the court and would walk in first to events. She wouldn't mind trailing after her new step-mother; Regina was beautiful, kind, and gracious. The princess didn't doubt that the young woman would be a wonderful addition to their court.
She nodded at Regina's suggestion. "You'll be wonderful," she assured her, a smile brightening her features.

It was a rare morning that left her with no family to share breakfast with. David and Emma had gone to the station earlier than usual to help put to rights the aftermath of the Snow Queen's curse. With Henry staying by Regina's, Snow was left alone with Neal. Instead of staying in she'd opted for catching breakfast at Granny's.
The woman sipped at her tea, wrinkling her nose slightly at the decaffinated beverage. Since finding out she was pregnant she'd had to eliminate caffeine from her diet. Still it needed to be avoided as she was nursing. She hadn't realized how dependent she'd become on coffee. She adjusted Neal's swaddling blanket, watching as he slept peacefully. Giving up her coffee fix was worth it for him.
